1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    No doubt,

Wes-"I need an argyle sweater for my golf outing"
*walks up to sweater rack, picks up first argyle sweater*
..."this is nice, oh, Pringle? I'll take it"

    Great person to thrift with.

I might say some mean stuff sometimes (and by the way, I don't actually wish death on you), but I don't think someone just saying the word "cunt" is actually against the rules here. And regarding your not understanding over the whole 'gay' thing... I don't know, go read a newspaper or something.

Who cares what it is... you've just found the awesomest thing ever.

Now I'm just imagining Jon Hamm at home writing 'Don Draper' in all his clothes like a crazy person.

My favorite SNL skit ever. Just seeing the screen cap has me chuckling.
    I would wear that. Proudly.

Wow, since I went to bed last night and got on this evening to catch up, almost 20 pages?! After reading several pages in, I found out why. People.....mellow out. Let's just move on and talk about the stuff we love.
Wow, those speakers are killer! Nicely done!
    :marchal:
Owch! I've encountered this many times. It's pretty depressing as some of the worst ones I've seen would have been the most valuable.
Cool find! The wife and I just watched Smokey and the Bandit 2 last night. I found a sportcoat in LA that was made by the same company for Steve Martin. Had an insane price tag on it though.
:slayer: My one find of the day. Rag & Bone women's jacket. Super cool. Leather elbow patches. Too small for my wife, so unless Martinigirl wants it or someone wants it for their significant other, it's eBay bound. [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

Thom Browne is no Banana Republic, so a "collaboration" with Mad Men seems unlikely. I suppose it could have been made for the show's costume department, which would be pretty awesome. TB does have an MTM program, so it's possible someone just wanted to be cheeky, considering that Thom has made his name selling reinvented 60s sack suits and that Mad Men caused a pretty serendipitous spike in demand for that kind of thing. You could maybe try emailing them or posting it on Thom's facebook page, they're a small enough operation that you might get a response. Regardless it's an awesome find, if it was a 1 I'd be sending you a half dozen PMs right about now.

Srsly. I made a bet with someone I could score a Bagger Vance outfit within 24 hours. Cap'n hooked me up within 2, complete with vintage knickers, bow tie -- the works.
Don't think I forgot, bro. The Annual Golf Outing is just a couple months away. Fit. Will. Be. Poasted.

    This

"I'll take 'The Rapist' for $500"
    "That's 'Therapist,' Sean!"
"I know how to read, Trebek!"
    "Pick again."
    "I'll take 'Swords!'"
    "That's 'S Words,' Sean!"
    "You'll rue the day, Trebek!"
"Let's just move on to Final Jeopardy. The clue is -- You know what? Just pick a letter. Any letter. Pick a letter and you'll win. Could be A, could be D, even M. Just write a letter down, and you win. OK, Mr. Goldbloom, let's start with you. You wrote ... the number 5."
"Ah, ah, ah, the LETTER 5"
"No, 5 is most definitely a number."
    "I can't read or write."
"Moving on. Mr. Connery. You wrote ... what's this, I don't believe it. You wrote M. That's actually a correct answer."
    "Ah ah ah, Trebek"
*reveals wager, which makes the M into the top of a heart, spelling "I [heart] boobs". Connery cackles*
"I don't even know what to say."

    -----

Never did make it out today. Hence, no finds. :(

Sorry for the non-fashionable thrift fit, but here's this mornings' thrift pickup in action (at the end of a 20 mile ride).

Don't dismiss what some people buy. Get a nice pair of those men's tube socks with multi-color stripes at the top
(like mid 1980's) and see what they sell for! I am thinking about hiring an 18 year old female to wear socks for 8 hours and to list them at auction but am having difficulty in finding the proper fabric mix for the socks. I was thinking a 60% poly / 40% cotton blend. The poly would release stains and yet the cotton would retain part of the odor for a certain sector or people that get off on this.

I am trying to figure out the undergarment arena on EBay but need a specialist for this as I do not have the know how.
