Went to my first estate sale last night. Only picked up one hideous zegna tie and left a Harris tweed. It was fun though and will probably search for more.

Damn bro that was fast. Took a couple weeks off and just caught up on 1000 + posts.

I'm afraid my itch would be scratched with the likes of croft and barrow, lands end and nautica...
    :embar:

Good day all. Great finds recently.

Thanks man, I'm cleaning out my shoe closet as we speak to make room for the new arrivals. I'll post them here before I take them to the bay in case anybody want's them.

Oh trust me - if anything there had fit me, I wouldn't have the funds left over that I do. I was hoping to spend a bit more on clothing for this trip, but sadly the only thing I found in my size (36 waist) were the Sugar Cane jeans. I'm content with my puchases, though. :nodding:

    That's insane! Wow!

Ok I'm going to one shop today and that's it. I really need to stop buying and start selling. Must keep repeating this to myself.

Ran into a treasure trove of tweed today. Most of it Harris, including two three piece suits and a couple of overcoats. Both of the 3 piece suits are actually 4 piece, as they come with two pair of pants. There are also two identical pair of Harris Tweed trousers that probably had a matching coat and and vest, but they were not to be found. I haven't measured them up yet, but they don't fit me so they'll be available soon.

    3 piece blue/grey

SC that also has a matching overcoat

    Probably orphaned trousers
