Snagged these Ferragamo Tramezzas at a bit higher than thrift prices today - my size but not really my style so available.

If I lost weight to the point of being more trim, I'd still probably be a 48. Like many, I carry some weight mainly in my gut. My shoulders and upper torso/ribcage wouldn't be losing that much in terms of dimensions. I suppose some of us are just big?

I'm not sure why people are so negative on unvented. My Boglioli is unvented and it's not that old and it's my favorite. I mean, you unbutton your single-breasted SC when you sit down, right? You're not riding a horse wearing it buttoned, right?

I was attempting to be funny with the "fatty" comment. Anyway, I wish more well-to-do gents willing to donate there wares, in my neck of the woods, were of a more athletic build. As it is, I'm stuck looking for shoes.

In money, yes, but not always in time. Guys who are making a lot of money are often much more time constrained than money constrained.

Finally, someone who gets it - I'm not too lazy to get in shape, I'm too successful. :)

In my area, two shops receive most of the local NBA and NFL player's old wardrobes - so if you come across a 46-52 in those stores, odds are really good that the person who owned it is spending 4 hours + in the gym.

Has anyone got a brown sports jacket to sell me that's somewhere in 36-40 size with shoulders no wider than 18"?

Don't stress: most of us weren't offended; we were joining in the joke.

I have a brown hickey freeman herringbone 2-button wool suit that I believe is a 40R, flat front no cuff. If that interests you, send me a PM and I'll measure it tonight for you.

Thanks for the offer, pal, but I'm looking specifically for a sports jacket.

If you know anybody with the initials RCC who is about a 16 1/2 34-35 PM me, they will be quite happy. I have 10 custom shirts that are all monogrammed RCC, most white some blues one lavender.
