This was a major haul for me. I had to travel to a city about 3 hours from home, for work. I'd been there a few weeks ago and hit a bunch of GWs and a ladies auxiliary thrift (IODE - Imperial Order of the Daughters of Empire, kind of like the DAR in the US). I came away with SFA on that trip, other than an impression that the GWs were really grubby and that the citizens of that fair town were tight with donations. But like any addict, I couldn't stay away when I went back this week.

Looking for info on 2 things: authenticity of the tie (see below) and am I sitting on a goldmine with this first item? (I'm still seeing visions of eazye's recent RLPL overcoat).

First up, a Canali Proposta overcoat. A wool/angora/cashgora blend. In exceptional shape and soft as a baby's bottom. Tagged 54. Seems to have travelled over 2000 miles to get here, from Mr. Sid in Boston. Not available.

Next up, 2 Canali SCs, tagged 56L (Navy one, 2-button, fully canvassed, dual vented) and 54R (Tan one, 2-button, fully canvassed, unvented). Not available.

Fabric tag I hadn't seen before:

Now the pants: Both available for cost + shipping.
Canali. Navy, single pleat, cuffed, lined to the knee, measures 18.5 across x 31.5 inseam.

Zanella, summer weight wool in a linen colour, double pleated, cuffed, lined to the knee, measures 20 across x 29 inseam.

Next, ties. Two no-name keepers for me. A navy pindot and a woven burgundy, tagged Made in Italy.

And then on my way home, I stopped in a small city for gas and some DQ. Decided to hit the VV there because 20 years ago I remember hearing that it was pretty good, it being sort of a regional centre for donations. I saw some interesting outdoor wear but then while eyeballing the tie rack, the first thing my eyes fell on was this:

I'm leaning to authentic but can anyone confirm? Not available.

    Finally the shoes:
AE Connondale, 8D, excellent condition. Not available.

AE Clifton, 10B, very good condition. Not available.

Open the tie in the back with your hands and check for a thread loop.

Nothing too special, but some AE Manchesters in 11 1/2 D. Photos didn't come out too great, but they get the point across.

Nothing else recently. I'm gonna try and finally get the AE Loafers I found ages ago listed, these will go with them.

Quick post. Off the 'bay, technically, but actually cheaper than what a tie costs at thrifts here, so counting it.
