I love cool hangers. That might be my next focus since I can't fit anymore shirts in the closet! I had to travel for work yesterday and got down to one of the spots I rarely get to anymore. I found an Ermenegildo Zegna Alta Sartoria flannel shirt (41/16) that wasn't my color or size with significant RATC (but sweet MOP's) so I left it and went over to peruse the tie rack. Suddenly... [IMG] [IMG] Best color representation photo. [IMG] Lots of fiddling with saturation, warmth, etc to get the colors close to real life. [IMG] Probably coffee stain that didn't photograph well but I can see it IRL. Should I take it to a dry cleaner? [IMG] I noticed that the wagon wheels on the two logos appear to have different numbers of spokes and the horsy has different tack gear and is missing a leg on the back blade so it may not be real. I didn't care...I kopped.

Not sure how these are sized....about a 39 or 40 I think if they are intended as an overcoat.

That is SO cool. Congrats! But if the lock is pickable then, YIKES!
Is Trask good? I passed on a pair at Savers the other day.
Ya think so? I have no idea as I'm generally clueless on these label ID things. All know is that I saw the keeper label (without the name) and knew instantly what I was allegedly looking at. I was surprisingly calm. :bounce2:

Took me at least an hour to get it open....not a pro lock picker, and only one side was locked.

I've had good luck with Trask. Decent US brand. The bison leather is always surprisingly supple.

My first Hermes purchase was completely by accident. I only grabbed it because I wanted to know why the Amish were making ties. I had no idea what I had until I got home that night and saw the small blade. lol. What a noob!

Awesome find! I have found two of those types of hangers in the past and I love them... Always try to cop more when I see them!

Are you certain about the 17" shoulders? Seems awfully small compared to the p2p number.

Maybe I didn't measure the pit to pit right. Is there supposed to be a seam under the arms that you measure? I think I got the shoulder seam to shoulder seam measurement right.

Both Unionmade and M&S have great end of season sales, and since you aren't a tall beanpole like me, your sizes will likely still be in stock when the sale comes around. Unionmade, however, only does semi-annual, one in February and one on sometime in the fall.

BnT great post. I agree on the duck canvas. The West is Dead chinos are all made of duck canvas, I tend to wear them as much as my denim. I want to make a trip to SF but my fiance says I would spend too much, she's probably right lol.

I've had decent luck with my guy getting stuff out of silk ties like this, though I'm always careful to instruct his team NEVER to press the tie flat. However, I have to assume the previous owner tried that, so I would skip that altogether and go straight to TieCrafters. I think you need a 3 tie minimum, though.
HOW. SICK. IS. THIS. If I thought I could pull it off, I'd be all OVER this. Thrift fit: [IMG]
