Speaking of looking a bit dated, and perhaps even a bit loud (does that put me in GMMcL's hipster crowd? so be it...)

Didn't mean to imply ONLY hipsters do/should wear loud patterns. Just that they're the most likely market. And, of course, once you're narrowing your market, you're eliminating demand, and, hence, potentially reducing return.

My experience is that . . .. I can't see anything much over those numbers.

Agreed. He had said $50 for a suit. I thought he could get a bit more, but not 10x. Maybe 2-3x, which is right around your range.

And something I've been looking for, for quite a while. Navy flannel Southwick 3 piece, mint! Pants are a little large, but I'm going to see what my tailor can do.

Allen Collins is a small, now defunct trad retailer from West Hartford, CT - funny that it shows up in the Windy City, incidently I have a nearly identical 2 piece 41R with short pants one on eBay now

I like that Baracuta, buddy.

It's a 44R and available if that helps. :hide: It's got some faint stains on the front I'm going to try and tackle tonight. Also, check out the lining on the Bally jacket. Unlike anything I've come across. It reminds me of the soundproofing used in recording studios. :slayer:

A heads up for anyone in the area: I was at the Nordstrom Rack in Natick, MA over the weekend (9/15) and saw a number of Canali, Thomas Pink and Armani dress shirts in clearance. I was only looking in my size (15.5 34) but there were at least 5-6 for ~100 or so a pop. None ended up fitting me quite right, but definitely the nicest quality shirts that I have seen in the rack in over a year.
