I was thinking that the second of those was about the second Hermes I've ever seen I would ever want to wear. Most of them seem to range from utterly tasteless to simply ugly.


Ditto. That one's ok, and there was a pink elephant one I saw that was kinda fun. I've read the explanations of how they're finely made, but so are many good looking ties. And I've read the 'so classy you can wear an expensive tie that looks cheap' explanation, but that seems like being an ass.

I believe that is the length of the belt. 85cm = 34 inches. Is it a size 34?

EDIT: Ignore what I just wrote, that is definitely the year 1985. The buckle (not tip) should have 925 on the back as above poster said.

I'd assume 85 is the grade of silver, unless there is a .925 hallmark.

I was thinking the same thing.

That's an amazing haul... I can't understand people buying $1K+ pieces of clothing and leaving them with the tags on hanging in their closet then donate them. Insane.
