1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Yes, Pal Zileri makes their own. I'm surprised it's so much bigger than tagged. What's it measure?

My first thrift fit. Thanks to 1ofthecoolkids, K4lnamja, and SeaJen!

    Available

Patagonia Convertible Hiking Pants. Waist is labelled 32. I'm 6'1 and they're long on me. Total length of 44, inseam 33. Nice, but a small stain on the inner thigh, back side. Not a big deal.

RRL 32x34, 29.25 inseam, 12.75 rise, leg opening 8.5. Minor fading, one of the back buttons came off, but I have it. Too lazy to repair and ebay.

I picked up this same thing a few weeks ago with the intention to see if it'd flip. Was around $50 or so? Seemed interesting enough

There was no Marshall's tag on it so I left it. How did it do for you?

My list was quality, not flippability. TNF will flip to wannabe gangstas. Old school TNF will flip to mountain people. The other brands will flip to people who actually use the stuff.

I made a $100 flip on a Sierra Designs down jacket. I also forgot Outdoor Research and MSR.

BS today...went to Marshall's...found a 40L Ralph Lauren Rugby (yes, the Rugby brand that is no longer here) Made In Italy...2 roll 3 herringbone grey...perfect fit. $50. I go up and then they look at the price and decide it was a mistake and the manager says "well, it's supposed to be $159.99 but I'll give you a $10 discount for $150".

    "No".

    sigh.

It was 20" shoulders, 23" pit-to-pit, 21" waist, 24 1/2" sleeves and 31 1/2" length. An extra inch on the sleeves and length and it would fit my 44L perfectly.

Marked as a Taglia 50 though.

Yep, Darwin. He loves to jump into photos. I have a hard time taking photos of clothes with him around.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. I had tried on the jacket once or twice, but after wearing it and seeing the pic, I could let sleeves out some.

    Remind

Remind them that, by law, they have to give you the marked price unless they can prove you altered the price tag.

I would have grabbed all of them if there were more than one. I barely found this one because it was in a section of random one-off ties... The other sections were all big groups of Countess Mara, Nautica, Penguin, etc.

Sorry, brother, I don't know Pittsburgh, but if you ever get to Minnesota you'll want to pick up a copy of this:

I don't know about that. I take my advice on outdoor wear from the guy on the right. He lives at 9k ft, fought with the SF in the Afghan mountains, and swears by TNF. They have several ranges on stuff much of his is silver-reflective lined, which differs from the stuff you can pick up from the mall, but it's definitely North Face.

what a dick thing to do. we look through old clothes for a hobby, but surely there's enough of pride or shame left in us that we wouldn't do that.
