1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Yeah, there was a lady DJ on a Balto hip hop radio station raving about the song. They announced they were going to play it for a half hour ahead of time. They had to bleep out a lot of the lyrics. [IMG]

    I wasn't too impressed. [IMG]

    Thrift fit, mountain man edition...

This is above Yosemite Valley on Saturday evening. We did an overnight snowshoe backpacking trip out to Dewey Point.

I seem to remember there being a fairly detailed discussion of the early years of PRL contracting and manufacturing in the Ralph biography Genuine Authentic by Michael Gross. I can't remember the specifics off the top of my head, and I don't have the book, but if anyone does it'd be worth looking it up.

    Thanks!

Since I found time between work an thrifting. Running into Friskydingo in a GW helped get me back, too.

I'm going to try to get a "best of" post on here with pictures of all the good things I've found since I moved to the Pacific NW.

Had to go out today. Found some eBay fodder, all available. Oddly popped my Versace cherry with the tie, then literally in the next store found a navy Versace jacket. Slight mothholes, not sure if an orphan, but didn't have to do any debating as it was $65. :rotflmao:

Also popped my Robert Graham cherry, lets see how that works out.

Just passed on a RLPL full navy pinstripe suit. $150 and rather ugly in my opinion. I did however pick up a vintage Jansport made in the USA hiking backpack for my wife for our trip to Montana and Glacier National Park this spring. Pics when she gets back into town with the camera.

You bet... I'm getting sick of having so many ties laying around. But the RLPL went for $53 (paid 99 cents!), so I can't complain too much!

I don't know much about the quality of technical gear but if it worked for overnight in the wild, then surely you picked up some great quality itmes. And this is surely almost the grandest setting for a thrift fit ever on this thread (I'm guessing Spoo's picture of himself at the Versace manion was not a thrift fit).
