1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

Sweet site. I have just entered my Golf thrift fit form this past fall.

Yeah, it was the first annual company golf outing. Over 100 employees in attendance. Only one (yours truly) was dapper-ly dressed. There was no prize for best dressed, but they have now created that category for next year. It will be called the Payne Stewart award, obviously.

The rest of the team... we came in 27th out of 28 teams

    I look like a freakin' giant....lol

My pleasure, outside of Orgetorix's great looking outfit, it seems that they're few and far between. It'd be great to see some people on here enter!
:slayer::slayer::slayer: Can't wait to see the results of the judging!

The ones in the pic are vintage Woolrich. Ironically I found a second pair the same week, corduroy, made in France.

GMMcL has them, and was supposed to have a thrift fit....ehhemmm!

Was just listening to Macklemore's "Thrift Shop" and it reminded me of this thread.

Ooh, I like this. The big-to-small check range from jacket to shirt is quite nice, and I don't normally go for the louder jacket patterns like that.

Saw it was #4 on Sirius top 100 yesterday. Crazy.

I was at the BB store on Michigan literally 2 days ago fondling a tie very similar to this one, $80? No thanks. $1.50? Yes please.

+1 I think if guys from this thread starting contributing there, their eyes would open to a new level of precision. Of course, I'm not sure if it's a level playing field, as I'm assuming what they have was thrifted by themselves and not traded.

+1. You guys should all enter! I'd love to see more of us win.

In the spirit of the bragging thread, I should mention that I managed to win on a month when the prize was $500 instead of the usual $50! :slayer:

Thanks for the feedback. It was precisely the size and busy-ness going on that stymied me with a PS choice. I only have about a dozen and couldn't find anything that worked.

Over $500 I think. Probably melt value.

Found a Brioni tie (my first Brioni in the wild) and a pair of J&M Crown Aristocraft longwings. Will be a restore project after I get a shipment of Saphir in next week.
