Lot more younger people than I thought in here. Almost 22

Also, trucked died. No thrifting. Strongly considered asking coworker to just drop me off at goodwill.

A GW that's not well-managed is my idea of prime real estate.
One I go to tries to be well-managed but their criteria is a little off: Nunn Bush, Clarks and Rockports in the glass case but quality footwear (when it appears) out on the floor. Same with ties: Calvin Klein = $14.99 but all sorts of hidden gems for $3.99.
I thought I had it rough because all shirts at $5.99 (although all jackets are $6.99). I gotta keep remembering that any "true" thrift price is a fantastic deal off retail.

I think thrift stores price that stuff high because those are desirable brands for most of the people who shop at those stores. I've seen Lauren by Ralph Lauren suits priced at $60 which were gone the next time I visited the store. Not that I'm saying there aren't people looking for Brioni, Bogliogli or Isaia (*cough*), but they must pale in comparison to the folks willing to part with a few extra shekels for QUALITY BRANDS like Tommy Hilfiger and Liz Claiborne.

Clarks boots I might pay a few extra bucks for, though, if they're relatively new. Because that's what us 25-year-olds wear, amiright?

So wait, that's just a Les Paul clone, albeit an old one? Gotta love the 5 ply binding on it.

I wish they had these at the Philadelphia store, or hopefully they don't now since I was there a week and a half ago. That thing is awesome, and I hear it is some pretty quality stuff.
From the way Klobber was talking I thought everyone was like 35+

22 here.

The quality is exceptional. From what I've read, the "David Chu" line was to compete with RLPL....

51 years young.....

24 here. The thread is much younger than i'd envisioned as well, even though DM7 mentioned to me that quite a few regulars were about my age. On another note, ill still be in the DFW area for the rest of the week if anyone wants to hit a few stores/grab a beer or whatever. Noobizor, weren't you in FW or something? We could go blast some ****, although you would have to provide the weaponry, I left mine at home. On that note, can anyone clue me into who the maker for Korshak's house brand would be? I ran across a SC, but left it cause I couldn't find a makers tag anywhere. Has got to be someone quality though right?

You know I went to sleepaway camp so long ago that it was the Stone Age. No, but seriously, it wasn't the Stone Age, it was the Ice Age. No, really it was the Stone Age.

When I was at camp, my favorite activity was arts and crafts. Or as we used to call it, arts and farts and crafts.

We used to make drawings: cave drawings...which is my way of saying that we were cavemen.

I went to camp so long ago that ******* Jesus Christ was my counselor and my best friend had polyeboslia.

You kids get off my lawn!

Precisely

For what it's worth, this is my age's Kennedy assassination. 6th grade as we got back from lunch.
