One of the most unhappy thrift moments in the last few months  Found this really nice J Press Tux jacket, IN MY SIZE!! (well 37S but it would work) NO PANTS
baldy%5B1%5D.gif
:censored: Debating weather to contact J Press and find out if I can get a pair of pants to match the fabric :puzzled: Pretty nice condition, 1 button, peak lapel, pretty slim fitting, center vent. Couldnt let it sit there for $3!!!
I saw the pic before I read the post and got excited because I need a tux and would have paid for it ASAP had it been my size. Sucks there's no pants to be found. If anyone finds a 40R one button peak lapel vented tux with 34x34 (or alterable) pants hit me up. I'll pay good money.

No, just providing a visual example of the tartan tuxedo pants suggested to Brianpore.

I like it.

I read this blog often, and I am a fan. I thought maybe that was you, and you were bragging about some of the finds, particularly the tartan etc.

Picked up a couple things with myself in mind but neither are going to work out, so available.

Pro-Keds Royal Throwbacks. Tagged 9, fit like 9.5. Cool shoes.

Polo authentic bleeding madras shorts. Tagged 34, but fit like a TTS 36.

A few recent pickups. The first two are really great quality custom-made SC's. My research indicates that the maker has been in the business a long time, and the garments are pretty expensive. They're fully canvassed, have surgeon's cuffs, lots of pick stitching, and great fabric.

If the measurements work for anyone, send me a pm with an offer. I need closet space, so I'm willing to give them away for pretty cheap.

First is a navy & blue windowpane. Side vented, and soft as hell. Fits like a 46R-L

Measurements:
Sleeves - 25"
Length - 32.5"
Chest - 24.25"
Waist - 23.5"
Shoulders - 20.25"

Second is a solid navy. Center vented and soft as hell. I'm convinced it has at least some cashmere in it. Also fits like a 46R-L

Measurements:
Sleeves - 25"
Length - 33"
Chest - 24.75"
Waist - 23.25
Shoulders - 21.5"

And then this is completely baller. I'm pretty sure its Sartoria Partenopea, but am waiting to hear back on the label thread. Not available at the moment.
