Yikes, where the heck do you shop? In Los Angeles? (don't worry, I'm a much smaller size) but that's impressive, 2 isaias and a corneliani? My local thift stores only carry discarded high street chain stuff.

I don't know, your haul was pretty sick too. We were pretty close for there to be a clear winner. I'm about to leave for round 2 this morning . . . tie-breaker? (I won't be able to match yesterdays... ever again in my life)

^^^ I really liked the idea of this picture when I saw it. I ended up thinking about it on and off yesterday and felt like doing something similar this morning...

    ^^^ 4 vintage 1960s BB paisley ties.

^^^ +2. Not that I actually keep the majority of Ferragamo ties that I pick up (because I don't), but this is one that I kept that I really like.

^^^ (The colors look a bit washed-out because I didn't bother to open the curtains, but the colors are really quite rich IRL.)

Corneliani Silk DB jacket. Too bad it's a 6X1 and doesn't fit me well. I got it for almost nothing

I was going to comment on that Vacca (I think I read somewhere Attolini made?) but the styling looked kinda ugly, IMO. (No doubt incredible craftsmanship though).

Thrifting really does change your perspective of buying clothing for retail. . .

I agree. We've got 6 mouths to feed and it's the only way we can afford to keep the gang in new clothes. The plus side is the quality (as we all know) we find can't be beat.
My 9 year old's go-to shoes are yellow with flowers Joseph Seibels. Unworn, from a garage sale.

We can do a deal here, and I'll throw in these socks to get you the extra 1/2 size.

Finally able to get some pics up.
All available, but suit tentatively dibbed:

AE Park Ave 9E. Really nice shape
    [IMG]

Churchs Diplomat. Scuffs on left toe. Size 8.5G marked on sole.

Ferragamo Tramezza wholecut in 11.5 EE. Scuff on L toe, missing plates on soles, but otherwise great shape.

Huntsman SC. Really heavy wool, measures to about a 42L. Working cuffs.

Huntsman tweed SC. Same size as above. Ticket pocket, working cuffs. [IMG]

    Huntsman suit. Tentatively dibbed.

Vestimenta unstructured SC. For Louis Boston. 58EU.

Also left behind a pair of Mezlan woven captoes with croc toe leather. Missing tassels on one shoe...worth picking up?

Hey Typhoid, are you pretty certain those are from the 60s? I've read that the white text on black background is 50-60s, but I thought that ties with the italicized sans-serif "BROOKS BROTHERS" (also white on black) were from the 80s. Just interested in knowing for sure. I've found quite a few BB ties matching this description that I thought were 80s.

Edit: Here's an example of what I thought was an older BB tie, alongside what I've considered to be from the 80s. I'd love to be wrong, though.
