Okay, I can reply to this because I'm not going to address guns at all. Now I will discuss morality.

What you describe involves everyone believing the same thing. This mechanism you speak of relies on a wholly accepted morality.

Example: A Clockwork Orange. The protagonist, Alex, runs about raping, pillaging, and breaking every law possible. He is finally caught and has the chance to accept behavioral modification therapy in lieu of jail time. He is literally programmed like a computer and loses his free will. He is programmed to do what the government thinks is "right". He is conditioned to feel sick at the thought of doing something "wrong". This is similar to this device you speak of.

Problem is, people have different opinions. And that's great. It makes us humans. People should be free to choose what's right for themselves as long as it doesn't affect another person's same right.

I think that the only guns that should be legal are muskets.

    1. Front-loading muskets were very clearly what the hallowed Framers of the Constitution had in mind when they drafted the document.
    2. It is hard to pull off a drive-by on some chickenheads when all you have is a seven foot weapon that can pump out an astounding 1 round per minute
    3. Designer powder bags would be pretty sweet

I met a Canadian who had lived in the US for almost 15 years.
He said still, after all that time, there were 3 things he never talked to colleagues/acquaintance about:

    1. Guns
    2. Religion
    3. Politics

With Odin and God mentioned above, we're batting 2 for 3.
For the home run, anyone want to talk about your presedential election?

Man... I haven't looked at this thread in like 10 hours, came on and was so happy to see there had been so many posts... and I feel partly responsible. My apologies.

But yeah, based on the limited contact I've had with other members of the human race over the past 25 years, I think very few of them should be able to possess deadly weapons.

Also, perhaps someone can chime in on this old Versace jacket (hesitant to use the Spoo signal)? Good pass?

Wow, that's a freakishly low gorge and weird fabric pattern. Good pass IMO.

AHHH I said JUST because it has no utility. Cigars/cigarettes/chewing tobacco have no utility that can't be replaced by something else and are harmful. Should we make them illegal? No. Because people should have the right to decide for themselves whether or not they use it. Using utility as PART of deciding whether to make it illegal is not what I meant. This is, of course, assuming we're talking about its usefulness. Utility can also mean profitable, in which case guns would have great utility. But seriously, I'm done. I'm going to go photograph thrift finds.

None taken. Just some guy I met camping on the Olympic Peninsula.

I was just suggesting a new topic of conversation.

Lets just head off any further politicized debates/debacles. Anyone know anything about Elie Tahari? It seemed nice, adn what i found showed a decent MSRP, but im sending one to Troika, and i'd rather not send him any BS.

No offense, but that Canadian sounds like kind of a pussy.
LOL that is the greatest thing i've read in this thread in awhile.

Got bored with the derail, so I decided to work on my project a bit more.

Some of you may remember when I started this

Finished Product. Didn't like the color the first time around so I stripped it all off again.
