It seems a little crazy out there today...one of my regular places was bringing out NIB ladies shoes on a regular basis (Tods, Stuart Weitzman, Tory Burch) but all for inflated prices and AS IS.

Gieves and Hawkes RTW (a little wear on the pocket and some repair of the lining near the vent needed).

I have a feeling this is a good pickup. Is it?

That's probably a Hickey-Freeman (check the tag inside the pocket). With damage and the lowish gorge/fish-mouth lapel, I'd pass on it myself.

Yup, great find! Vintage Schott (either down or leather) is always a good find. That piece likely dates from the late 60's-early 70's, judging by the styling. I'd be all over it if it were a couple sizes bigger.

Today - gonna keep the charvet and the black/silver stripe talbott, as well as the ralph lauren shirt which is super thick - good for around the house.

Spoo, you're on the right track! Bogner is high-end ski-wear and is pretty expensive. That looks to be an older model (late 90-s to early 00's) and Bogner seems to be all over the place on the bay. I stopped picking it up because the few pieces I grabbed that I thought would do well flopped.

That High Adventure is pretty cool though. Deets? Jacket or vest? Typical late 70's-early 80's outdoorwear. Never heard of the label, but that doesn't mean it's bad. Looks pretty nice, actually. Rip stop nylon lining and likely a 60/40 (or something around there) shell. Any clue where it's made? A clue about the company can be their garment care labels. Many companies used a single label for their down garments and thus included care of all their down products. Looks like they made sleeping bags too.

I got it from eBay from a German guy that was selling part of his tie collection. He did email me that most of his ties were unworn and I actually believe him in this case.

Great! Thanks, the city goes all out for Advent/Christmas.

Thanks for the info. It's canvassed and seemed good quality, so I thought I'd take the chance. I can return it, which I likely will given that it's HF.

Really like that. I have left a couple of untagged tartan/plaid scarves behind, but I'm just waiting to find something worthwhile.

I wanted to google The Scotch House and the reviews were kind of funny. It appears that the Scots don't like bagpipes, either.

Sorry for the terrible pictures. Hit two stores today and picked up a few shirts, nothing else to be found. Total cost for the 6 shirts under $30.

Could definitely use some info on this Balmain shirt. Authentic? I'm assuming this isn't the Balmain I'm looking for, but I liked the fit and figured I could use it.
