Lots of "firsts" in today's finds...

    1) Real?
    2) How many cars can I plan to buy from selling this monstrosity? [IMG]
    (also a first)

2nd ever (love the first one to death)

    (3rd ever)

Know nothing about it but it's my size and I love the color

1st ever W&G (also had to leave behind a 2nd W&G shirt that had a hole and multiple stains)

Surprisingly, first I've found. Flat fronts, and my size [IMG]

PRL Madras made in India. If no one's interested, I'll definitely keep it. Very interesting.

Very recent (I think??) HF Customized. Not sure, might be an orphan but even if so, very passable as an SC.

Also saw a (first) Ferragamo shirt but pit stains were unsalvageable. Also unpictured 5x near NWT condition blue/white herringbone BB SCs, directly from the dry cleaners (left 8x white ones in the same size an 5x pink ones...a tiny amount of collar wear on them). Also got a pair of AE split toe bluchers.

Awesome haul. That last HF is very recent.

Thanks!! [IMG] Can't wait to get those after Spoo grabbed the first set. My taste can't be too bad after all.

Not the right place as this is the "thrift bragging thread" and your post is better for the "I got taken on ebay" thread. [IMG] It happened to all of us at one point, just learn from the experience

    Thanks.

^^^ Speak of the [IMG]. I picked this up here in Oklahoma City from a private for-profit type of thrift store. (I think the guy who owns it goes to estate sales or storage locker auctions and sells what he buys out of his store front.)

I don't think it's brass - just brass colored. I put a magnet up to the metal part and there was a weak attraction. Either way, I'm probably not going to sell it because it is in great cosmetic condition, in perfect working order, and it's just a cool thing to have around, lol. [IMG]

That RG label - never had any luck selling that stuff. Couldn't even give it away. Same goes for the actual Robert Graham stuff with the blue fabric label. The only ones worth grabbing IMO is the embroidered label shirts.

New player luck? There was the Zegna cashmere SC from Savers the other day. Today I visited GW and picked up this newish Burberry London coat for $5.99. My wife, whose Burberry predilection is as profound as her distaste for walking into thrift stores (she claims it's the smell that keeps her away), states flatly that this is real -- but I hope she's right because it fits me...

Any thoughts regarding real versus not would be appreciated.

P.S. Wow, thanks for the much appreciated feedback on the board. Made my night. This is an amazing group here. :)

Unless they fit you and you like them, I'd stop picking them up. You will continue to run into tons of them -- they are everywhere.
