I recently picked up these shoes at the local Goodwill and was curious if anyone had any info on them. They are "Dress-Walkers by Footjoy" with Vibram gumlite soles. I can't seem to find any info on the quality, construction, or where they were manufactured. They seem to be good quality, but I have very limited knowledge about shoe construction. Either way I'm happy with them because I'd been considering a suede captoe for a while, and really like the look of these.

Your pics aren't working, but I think that your shoes most likely are by "FootJoy" not "FootBoy."

They're mostly known for golf shoes...

They look cool, perhaps they are actually Dress Walkers by Footjoy (rather than footboy). that would meke more sense. They had a dress walker liine as well as a casual walker line....and of course the golf shoes.

I would grab all Oxxford, unless hideous or wildly outdated
Likewise on Brioni, the method is not that hard to do and worth it for Brioni!

Agreed. This is a personal opinion, but when it comes to clothes I wear myself, the quality and maker is meaningless if the styling is outdated. The gorge is definitely low on the C&C, so despite the fact that its a nice blazer, it still won't look as good as some cheapo recent blazer. That especially applies since you're a skinny guy.

That being said, I would still buy the C&C blazer to sell, because many others don't care (or don't realize) that it is outdated.

Yeah, I just noticed that, it was a typo, they are most definitely "Footjoy." I knew they did mostly golf shoes, and I know they have had some Made in the USA stuff, but I can't figure out anything about these shoes in particular. Not sure if those pictures are working now, but here are direct links if they aren't.

I suppose it's not really important, I was mostly just curious.

Ok, you guys have convinced me. I'm a bit hasty to jump on things, I guess.

The thrifter's curse: a good name, a piece you want, and the gorge is low. Or the pants are pleated. It's why I've switched to consignment shopping when I'm buying to wear. Most of the time I'm paying 10%-20% of retail.
