1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Is this the right black label? First time I've ever seen this label. Was a 3 button solid gray orphen in 36S/R. Almost looked fake??

Wasn't there something posted about them never using the bird logo thing on the lining? I seem to recall that in either this thread of ebay questions thread.

I would go with fake. Emporio uses the logo and the font looks off on it to me. I'm NOT an expert with these things though, so I'd let others chime in before you trust my judgement :D

    Fakety fake fake fake.

EDIT: The reason: Only Emporio uses the eagle logo, and since when it Le Collezioni one word?

Is there any way to fix this heel issue?

    I didn't think so.

These are unmarked Florsheim shells on ebay, so I'm really tempted. I talked the seller down to $47 shipped from his outrageous asking price of $92 shipped.

I guess it's not so bad.

They'd also need new heels, I think (no V cleats, unfortunately).

You're not alone. I had the image of a certain cashmere Polo Bear sweater pop into my head when I saw it opened up. Listing this one on a friend's account, just in case mine has the Polo Curse. Who knows though, maybe it's just the Polo Bear who hates me.

It's average - the angle of the photo just makes it look odd.

    I hope so!

Wow - seriously? If so, then :slayer:

No, but if you're happy with the price, you could still get some wear out of 'em. I would dye and clean up the stuff on the heel to make it look a little neater, but that's about all you can do.

I have started adding "unicorn" to my Zanella finds. So far so good.

So I was searching for thrift stores on Google Maps in a new city and came upon this review. I can't wait to go to this store and check it out.

I'll probably pass it up because it was easy enough to find a 9 D pair of unmarked Florsheim shells on ebay. Something better will, no doubt, come along soon.

I was talking to her about it and she said "Besides used clothing and cookies, what else do you guys talk about?" It put things into perspective for a split second. Anyway, I'll see if she's up for the task of it for anyone that is interested. Shipping a kilo or two is about €15 from Austria to America. I'm not sure if that's too much to spend on cookies.

That's a literary genius. It reminded me of a Goodwill I saw in Texas. It was insane. There were just boxes of things sitting around and everything was broken and filthy. I have no qualms with dirt or digging through things at places like flea markets and thrift stores, but this was on a new level. I couldn't last more than a few minutes and had no understanding of what people could possibly find in the boxes that would make shopping worthwhile.
