How much would it cost but yes, its a brand people will pay for so will flip on ebay pretty easy. Just dont expect the same as a 2010 modern cut SC

Stop by my crib. I have a lot of shoes that need brushing, and not nearly your stick-to-it'iveness.

Honestly, most of the Harris Tweed Jackets I come across are junk, fused, dated lapels, close button spacing, bad shoulders etc etc. They're ofton from brands that, if the Harris Tweed patch wasn't present, we'd never consider buying.

I also think that he popular HT patterns (the ones you see the most, light grey herringbone, light brown herringbone, the barelycorns etc etc, anything with vertical stripes) aren't all that great.

I think there are a lot of great HArris Tweed patterns out there, but buying HT used is almost always a disappointment, unless you can find one made for BB, Southwick, CCC or someone else good.

harris tweed is just a fabric. you can buy a bunch of loro piana superfine woven by italian virgins super 300s and if you give it to stafford to make a suit out of it its still going to suck ass!

Yeah, maybe "I will issue you a refund once I receive the original bag I sold to you" or something to that. Sorry to hear you have to go through the hassle. I understand if you want to return a jacket that didn't fit you but thinking something is fake is just down right insulting to the seller.

What's sad if the old Coach leather stuff like that wasn't faked...there was no market for it. The fake ones are development over the past 10 plus years when they started making the ghetto looking purses with the crazy C's that you see coveted by all the white trash women at Wal Mart.

Now imagine having to multiply one incredibly worthless shirt by a factor of 8 or 10.

That's actually quite interesting. I might look into that with one of my older whites that I was going to prune from the closet. Thanks for the idea! Keep in mind that I am quite the sloth and it may take me weeks to do it!

That may be my fall back strategy. I still have a couple of Puritan Wal*Mart shirts, bought back in pre-sf times that I rescued from the donation bag that I have placed into the rotation. Once one has worn a real shirt, it's a drag to put one of those back on again. Plus the details are never right. The collar is too small or something.

I'm holding out for the JAB "Buy 1 get 2 more free" sale and I'll pick up some of these which are available in black although it will break my thrifty heart to drop that kind of dosh on a shirt. The end price will be $29/shirt.

    Priceless.

Or something like "I'll be accompanied by my Coach Authentication Expert, Mad Max. What's for dinner?"
