1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

To me shoes are the easiest to check - they're all laid out and so easy to eyeball shape, condition, form.

    *rubs up against DM7's leg...*

By Crom, and I thought the new Grensons I picked up were a temptation to flip. No way I'm selling them though. In my current situation, I'm not about to spend what would be needed to replace them, and it's unlikely I'll find something again of that level and style that fits me.

Too many guys post about items they've regretted selling. The money you'd make off them would just get sucked up someplace unmemorable, but keeping the shoes will be a constant reminder that you own something really nice.

Updates on the givenchy from earlier. Needs minor dry cleaning (and looks like it's seen the a dry cleaner a few times already :() and one of the buttons is cracked, but otherwise great shape. Color is navy, not black, in case that doesn't really show in pictures.

Ditto. Even if I can't be arsed to flip through all the crappy suits, I will *always* check shoes. I also find that they are easier for me to prep to flip. I clean, condition, polish, and shoot. With suits, measuring, hanging on a mannequin, etc, just seems like more of a pain in the neck. Maybe it's because I can do most of the shoe work sitting on my ass.

Speaking of which, grabbed a pair of 9C AE Chili Bradley today. Nice to have found at least *something*.

I've sold a pair around $30 and another pair of old Versace Signature with a stud missing for $84. WTF!

!!! Does that say size 8?

    Shoes first. Always.

    Also... Lobbs?

For the love of all things holy, nice find. Maybe LA folk just aren't into Lobbs or something.

+1. I can scan a row of shoes in seconds and spot the pairs worth a closer look.

Angry tears of jealousy over here. Seriously though don't flip those, the best part of thrifting is skimming the cream for yourself. Nothing much tonight, another Ferragamo tie to add to the collection of low rotation neckwear. Saw some V2 stuff that i cant even pick up for ebay because of how ugly and cheap it looks.

I guess that's what I was missing with the 40 R that died a slow death in no-bid land.
