Lunch break netted me a Willis & Geiger heavy canvas khaki shirt, shooting patches on shoulders - I think- for 10 bucks. Complements the Akubra fur felt safari hat I got yesterday.

WTF are you talking about??? How many positive trade feedback do you have, how many do I have? I'm a hassle to deal with...if you say so. I never made a big deal about it fitting ME, it was the fact that you were not complying with the clearly stated B&S forum rules.

I think I know the real reason your pissed at me, but no point to air that dirty laundry in the "thrift bragging thread".

Two thoughts on 951socal's recent shenanigans:

    1) It's his jacket. He bought it on his own (ie. not from a fellow member), and he can do whatever he wants with it.

    2) That Charvet thread was about as funny as the least funny scene in a Sacha Baren Cohen movie.

While I don't endorse 951's antics if you want to get ahead in this world -- i.e., this is the opposite of Spoo, the ultimate benevolent flipper -- there is a certain schadenfreude one gets in reading that thread, if you've ever sold anything on eBay or have been abused by tire-kickers on the PM circuit (I bring up no names, you thrift thread people aren't offensive, typically, in that regard). I also sold a lot on eBay in the collectibles category before kids ruined my free time and social life, ha, and if you think clothes freaks are compulsively picky, you ain't seen nothing, lol

One tailor in town, who is Greek, refers to either one or more pairs as "pantses."

Definitely women's and definitely about a 16" rise, and fall/winter weight.

So... high waist or drop crotch in the eBay listing?

I would not use "drop crotch" in a women's clothing listing. High waist is much easier on the eyes.

951socal is my new favorite poster. Old school BBS style troll-fu.
