1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    LOL

    HAHAHAA!

I would tell her to get off of her high horse and jump off a bridge.

Wow! You got that at a thrift store? I'm waiting for an used copy Resident Evil 6 (PS3) at Gamestop. Buy it used, play it for a week, and return in for a full refund.

I was gonna bid on it if I didn't win this one. Not gonna complain about Chester Barrie for Harrod's though.

They cleaned up pretty well, save for a small cut near one of the toes.

The rest of the sole is pretty solid, damn toe taps would have kept this from happening...

    Think these are useable/serviceable?

A few of my finds from the last couple weeks. All are already up for ebay. Also, I've been looking hard for some quality, nice condition black and brown cap toe shoes in size 10.5-11 (C or D). If anyone has something that fits the bill, send me a pm. I'm willing to pay a good price if its what I'm looking for.

How old are these Brioni's? They seem authentic, but the labels are different from what I've seen.

I'm hoping / thinking it's less true for overcoats. My camel sportcoat definitely didn't work though.

Those are amazing! Especially that Kiton![IMG]

If anyone finds anything like the Coppley or Kiton in design at around 23" pit to pit please PM me ASAP.

Oh, and I found them on eBay and they're too big, so you can ignore my PM [IMG]

Your Brionis have me befuddled. The styling and quality look good, but you're right that something about the labels looks so off...especially on the "B". Here are my own Brioni labels from a big recent haul for comparison, none of which look similar to yours.

EDIT: Also, I'd be very wary of the stitching on the label patch of your first Brioni - every "Roma" line Brioni I've seen has the "xxxx" stitching around the label, which yours in the first picture lacks. Just IMO, don't know it to be gospel. Like you suggested, it might be a dating thing, and the more recent Brioni might not do that stitching anymore for all I know.

Also, that Kiton is pure tits.

    Word.

That Kiton is FUCKING AWESOME, though. I wish it were about 8 sizes smaller.

Had my first real "score" today when thrifting. Found an old Corneliani SC for 8.99 in my size which I picked up for a bar hoping jacket that I don't need to worry about. I saw a few newer Paul Stuart SCs in 44S but passed on them. Found 4 pairs of Nordstrom Cedar shoe trees in size xl and L.

But the real find was a pair of very lightly worn (maybe 5 times total) Alden 686 in brown. Size 10D for $7.99.

Sadly, I wear a 10C so they are a tad roomy. I'm not sure if I should keep them or pass them along. Anyone know if a cobbler could do anything to help make them tighter?
