That's because if you read the fine print, Priority Mail International flat rate box/envelope IS THE EXACT SAME SERVICE as first class international, only more expensive. True story

I've heard this is true for the small flat rate box.....is this the same for medium and large as well?

it is 100% true for the small flat rate box and any priority mail envelope, whether flat rate or not.

it is NOT true for medium and large flat rate boxes.

source of my info: USPS guy in Washington D.C. I know personally. While he's not infallible, he is smarter than your average postal monkey.

Errr, that was insensitive. I didn't mean to offend.

    The monkey, of course. :hide:

I finally got around to adding a bunch of vintage Trad / Ivy stuff from some of my recent posts to my Etsy shop for those of you who were interested. [IMG]

    Yep that's true

Of course the problem is the medium flat rate box is as expensive as hell. So, I will continue to enjoy my unprotected back alley hooker sex :slayer:

You guessed right. I can tell you from experience it's not worth the stop if you're looking for high-end merchandise. If you do happen to roll through the Minneapolis area, let me know and I'll show ya some hot spots.

haha, thanks for the info! We'll only be in MN on the southern side, on route 90 - coming up from Iowa just to catch 90 to the left for a longggg way out West! Our time schedule is pretty tight, too. We don't even go through Chicago... the biggest cities we go through will be Indy, Peoria, Davenport, Sioux City... yeah, thrifting hotbeds, right? ;)

You'll be out in the boonies for sure! Haha. S. Dak is great though. The corn palace, the badlands, the cosmos, Mount Rushmore.....etc. Lots of good memories out there. Have fun!

    Had some luck tonight.

Hermes scarf. No stains or pulls, just wrinkled. It was missing the price tag, which had me sweating, until the lady at the register said "Is two bucks okay"? :slayer:

And some nice ties: Hermes, Hermes, Ferragamo, Ferragamo, Vineyard Vines

Funny enough, I actually passed on the Ferragamo with airplanes/birds (in a different color) a while back, before I cared for Ferragamo. I later regretted it, and now I've found it again.
