Bit mean. We can't all be pejsuk.
Indeed, we can't all be like pejsek, finding mint condition Harvie & Hudson cashmere overcoats for $17 plus 25% off because it's Wednesday like I just did a few hours ago! [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

Jinda that coat is awesome. I'd be jealous except it's too hot here to wear such a thing.

You've got to be kidding. Does that fit you? If it does, at least the weather is shitty enough over there for you to get some use out of it.

The icing on the cake is that it fits like a glove... [IMG]

I won this overcoat in an ebay auction last week for $80 bucks and it just showed up. Seller described the overcoat as having the tags removed but it simply was only made with one inner tag, the gray sulka tag under the inside pocket. He also stated that he was selling as is because he couldnt tell what kind of fabric the coat was made from. For some reason, the inside fabric tag inside the inner chest pocket had somehow been scratched, but you can clearly make out "Material - 100% Cash . . ."

Its a Sulka 100% cashmere overcoat made by Saint Andrews. The fit is good, the fabric has a rich brown color and it is soft to the touch

Not bad, my boy, not bad at all. Question on your cashmere overcoat: what is the length on your overcoat? The Sulka that I picked up fits me the way I like (I generally like my overcoats one size up) but the length is quite decadent - - a good 6-8 inches below the knee.

I purchased a Polo polo coat in tweed sometime ago in my regular 42R size and it really has a generous cut throughout. However, that coat is still at least two inches shorter than the Sulka lengthwise. I have other overcoats of varying lengths (above the knee, just at or just under the knee), but I really like how these longer ones look. They keep your whole damned body warm too [IMG]

Ok, I had a noteworthy (in my humble opinion) haul today...

    2 Ike Behar Shirts
    1 Faconnable Shirt
    1 RL blue label shirt
1 Zegna double breasted gray windowpane jacket, excellent condition
pair of Allen Edmonds Sanfords in just my size. I think I'm going to send them in to AE for recrafting.

    some fits, some flips.

Went through my first thrift outing today at a local Goodwill. Picked up a Brooks Brothers charcoal suit jacket for 50 cents and a tan jacket for $10 for trips downtown where I know liquor/puke/etc might get on it. Anyone happen to know who makes jackets with a tag with several S's?

Either way, happy with my trip, even though I can't brag too much.

Anyone ever go through the racks and think, "Boy, Americans sure are fat."? It was a struggle to find anything less than a 42, and I'm a 38...

Had some luck thrifting this weekend. First I scored a Austin Reed glen check 3 piece in almost unworn condition (still had the original inspector cards in the inside breast pocket) for 50% off $25.00! It's my next tailoring project.

Second is a vintage silk/wool YSL for $2.00!
