I don't usually wear ties that require QUITE that much panache to pull off. :)

I'd do it up like an Engineered Garments model: grey shirt, grey trousers, drab belt, dark coat, then BAM -- FLORAL TIE!

EDIT: Something like this, but w/ a tie:

Well, the "buy-sight-unseen" Brioni has been claimed and paid... so here it is for everyone to critique. 3.75 wide :)

Here's the Nom de Guerre polo from the same find:

I would totally wear that. I've got a Fendi that's almost as obnoxious that I've worn to great affect, in my opinion:)

Also this:
Sadly, the only piece of Issia I've ever come across. I've actually never worn this one. If anybody thinks they have the stones to pull this off, I might be down for a trade.

That Isaia is pretty dope, bet you could get $40+ on ebay. Eazy, after I wear that Brioni once I can shoot it your way, for the same price as Mr. WGP charged me.

If that Brioni were sans label, it could just as easily be a Hill-Side, Gitman Vintage, Sunny Sports, etc etc tie from the current season. Floral is the end all be all of fashion for SS 12.

Dude, that would be ******* awesome! The only Brioni ties I've found have been unwearable, although they sold for no less then $20 on the bay, so I still always pick them up. Yea, although I haven't ever worn it, I still can't bring myself to put the Issia up on ebay.

Not really a thrift find, but I took a chance on a sketchy eBay auction. I haven't receeived the jacket yet, so we'll see how good (or bad) I did.
Here is the listing...
http://www.ebay.com/itm/230780128093?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649
The seller confirmed that it is new, and that the sleeves were never finished. The label looks recent, and I'm hoping that my tailor can finish the sleeves with working button holes.
That leads me to my questions...
- Orphan, or is this meant as a sport coat?
- It needs a new set of buttons, because the sleeve buttons were not included in the auction. I was thinking of trying to track down some brown horn buttons. Any other ideas? Smoked MOP?
I don't see much Zegna in Central Illinois, so eBay is about my only option.
