Nat, I swear those two ladies we saw were a team (when they were trying to trade for that cashmere sweater you snagged for me) Same place?

It's dark out and they're sitting in the back of my truck. Tomorrow :)

Also, almost forgot I bought this :embar: Don't think it's worth anything, I see yashica all the time, but this one was in good shape and looked really cool. Now I can go around like a hipster with my vintage film camera.

Most are pretty dated (low gorges, no vent, 6/1 if double breasted, etc) and they just don't feel as nice as the newer stuff. Though I guess that can be said for a lot of makers. A recent Zegna sportcoat feels a million times nicer than one from the 90's.
Oh definitely. Yup, same place. Oh well.....

    :wow: Mind = BLOWN!

Find them every so often. Cooling off on picking up shirts outside my range, and this would have been among those I stopped picking up. But duly noted. (The one I found must have been bespoke for T-Rex: Massive neck, huge pit to pit, teeeeny tiny arms.

Looking AWESOME! I echo all subsequent comments. DIG (or anyone, really): Is gorge just the vertical placement of the lapel/collar meeting point, or also the angle thereof (on a notch collar)? I'm sure I could do research, but it's 1AM on the east coast, I've been working until just now, and I just got through 120 something posts.

    Win.

OH GOOD GOD! We were doing so well; I thought maybe we could avoid our Monthly Thread Down! Noooooo!

Thrift fit from today, plus a bonus.

I call today's "If you Can't Have Fun, WTF Are you Doing It?" Yes, this is awful..... Awfully awesome! (Sorry, Spoo; I've let you down)

Jacket: Hackett; traded with a dude here
    Shirt: CT, ebayed
    Tie: Th. Pink, ebayed
Ladybug Links: Home made with Daughter #1
Trousers: BB 346 burgundy cords, traded with a dude here
    Shoes: Church's Handmade loafers, thrifted
    Socks: Dunno, but they're awesome

Speaking of trades: AWESOME stuff rollin' in. Thanks, guys!

And now for this: Here we have a Canali Proposta (spelling?) orphan that I got as a bonus in a trade. Fits me really well (well, maybe a tad wide in the shoulders, but it's manageable).

And here we have a Gieves and Hawkes by HF blue blazer that has seen better days. Thrifted during my early days, before I knew better. (Saw the G&H label; assumed it was REAL G&H).

And here we have their UNHOLY love child, taking the killer sword-motif buttons off the Gieves, and put onto the orphan.
    [IMG][IMG][IMG]

Tune in next time, when I disassemble the jacket to reveal the canvas and construction....

Yashicas are pretty cool cameras, I used to flip them regularly. Too bad its not a Electro 35 GSN (worth quite a bit more). If you want to actually use it, you will have a tough time with the obsolete battery. Check the web for solutions on making alterations to some of the modern batteries. Also check inside the back film cover to see if the seals are still intact. The foam seals are almost always rotted away on these. No big deal, only a few bucks for a new one.

....So, let me get this straight. The party: it never sleeps here, correct?

BOOM! Available for proxy, maybe. Digital camo is totally hot right now (or maybe it was five minutes ago, who knows...). One of you may want to go all J-Kissi on these, slim 'em, trick 'em out, roll wit it, I dunno. Fits a 32-35 inch waist, 32 length. Rise is way high, but if you can rock the Street Etiquette style, these are the coolest camo pants I've seen. Two left if they're worth $5 plus shipping.

    :foo:

Also, check this out: Gitman Brothers Vintage? Kind of...

    It's vintage Gitman Brothers!

Someone'll have to explain why Armani shirts get no love around here. Their fabrics are soft, their buttons, fierce. And their hearts...are true?

This one's too big, but whatevs.

Coogi jeans, Real or Fake? I left them b/c I believe they may be fake.
Interior tag is Yellow C Blue O green O orange G red I, which I think is correct color scheme
    [IMG]

but the exterior tag is blue C orange O green O yellow G red I. Should the color schemes match?

Just kidding, didn't thrift the Barbour, but everything was purchased cheaply, at a thrift, or was free (Dockers posted a FB msg claiming to give away a pair of pants for Super Bowl predictions).

    Cutler and Gross (eBay)
    No name green chambray (thrift)
    Barbour International (eBay)
Seiko watch w/ NATO band (thrift and eBay)
Dockers Alpha Khakis (free from *oops* Facebook posting)
    Fly London boots (Superfuture)

Hm, It being licensed means its not nearly worth picking up, right? How do you tell the new licensed stuff versus unlicensed? Everything looked ok, except for the color scheme on the interior and exterior "Coogi" didn't match and I thought I read somewhere that they are supposed to?
Some more items from yesterday's session, 2 Pairs (Size 10.5 & 11) of JM Made in Italy Boots with minimal wear. Both available.

Size 11 Johnston and Murphy Domani. The Sole says "Genuine Deerskin". Between the toe cap and heel section, the area is pebble grain
