Ohhhh Snap! Huge Whodat here, so please be kind. There's enough piling on of the Saints going on everywhere else on the interweb and real world.

p.s. posting from 2+ miles in the air. Marginally SF approved flying clothes too.

+1. I see a good deal of Samuelsohn Paul Stuart stuff and that tag's not familiar to me.

:spam: Pics of that Pringle. It's got the HRH tag and everything. One of you tradies wants to trade with me, don't you? (Catside?) :spam:

^^^ I only buy Coach stuff that's made in USA. I'm not sure if that really has an effect on whether or not any of my items sell, but it just makes me feel better about what I'm selling. [IMG]

This was my guess as well but I've never thrifted or seen a Samuelsohn jacket personally. Ah well, thanks guys. Sorry for the bad pictures of the tag itself. Jacket's available if anyone's interested.

Speaking of Pringle, the Pringle sweater Horse's Ass proxied for me came today and it's AWESOME. Barely worn if at all. Thanks man!

Also a Saks linen w/ MOP buttons s/s shirt from Cotton Dockers. This thread community is awesome.

Tonight started off slow at the Goodwill. Aimlessly flipping through Haggar and Stafford, gems in their own right, but I would never be so greedy as to take them all. And then I saw it. "Fake," I thought, almost too weary to inspect further. But channeling all my SF thrifting knowledge, I gathered my strength and went to work.

It began with the preliminary lick test. Check, just like creamy vanilla ice cream.

Next I quickly moved to the care tag. Devanlay, you say? Who the hell is that?!

And that's when I finally knew...

You guys are really such an amazing resource. Thank you all so much for the information you share :fonz:

I thought it was funny that I would find this so soon after all the recent Lacoste debates.

Yeah, mine is definitely fake. Just looked for the content tag... there is none... but I did find a "Made in Thailand" tag [IMG]

Also, LIP test, not lick... herpes is forever

Turks are very good in leather stuff and if they make a fake Coach ( of course they do!) they are smart enough to write Made in USA. Joking aside Coach produces abroad, mostly in China but in other countries as well and some special edition stuff was made in Turkey in Coach stores - bought mom little something so was there few weeks ago-. I can imagine producing in Turkey is more expensive than China so yes I would say authentic.

Other two things I picked up tonight

    Bobby Jones Polo
    [IMG]

Vintage Woolrich Jacket, it's actually pretty nice and still in good shape. Was too lazy to switch lenses/hang it up for the full shot.
