Traveler isn't so bad. I have a few. I like the fit, and they've lasted longer than some of the "better" labels I've thrifted.

+1. I'm hard pressed to tell this to anyone whose personal tastes differ from mine, but....burn it. Burn it with fire, and never speak of it again.

So I went to a place that's kinda out of the way that I've only been to once... So totally not worth it. NOTHING.

Stopped at Marshall's on the way home. Didn't pick anything up but left a couple things...

Some selvedge denim made by Cone Mills in NC, but made into jeans by Canterbury in NZ? Never heard of them so I left 'em

Also, I probably should have picked this up from a purely monetary standpoint (priced at $40) but the combination of Robert Graham and the Yankees was making me throw up in my mouth

Got this for free from a buddy who didn't want to take it with him on a move across the country, alas no matching ottoman. He also kept the black leather and rosewood version he had:brick:

    :fu: :fu: :fu:

I can't find his store. I'm pretty sure he said it was Lake Highlands High End Clothing, but there might be little dashes or something inbetween the words. Someone strong with the Google-Fu might be able to find it.

It was so funny talking to a master thrifter! There were obvious echoes of SF in the many topics he presented. My favorite -- besides the overall air of unflagging enthusiasm at still being able to pull Hermes for a buck -- was the impromptu soliloquy he gave on the soft tragedies of leaving behind those Robert Talbott BOCs and various nice Faconables, pleasant and well-made, for sure, but without the resell kick to justify a purchase.

I was honored when after our conversation ended, he took my word that the many shirt racks had been exquisitely drained. :foo:

I've seen the brogueing not match on some new AEs that are sold as seconds. That ordinarily wouldn't bother me, but one of those captoes is bigger than the other! I hope you get the refund.

2 stops today and a lot of misses:
-Canali mainline striped suit. the entire seam of the left pocket was really worn. LIke this guy would always put his hand in his left pocket only. Maybe that is where he kept his keys?
-HF birdseye suit with an ugly reweave mole in one of the thighs
-Another HF suit; cant remember why i left that one.
-Bally captoes that were pretty hammered. Sz 12
-May have left a grenadine tie behind. No label, content tag, nothing. I neeed to go to a store to see what grenadine really looks like.
I did pick up a blue black white pocketsquare. That's it. Will lay off the thrifts for the weekend. They get really crowded.
