Found a pretty minty pair of Florsheim Royal imperial shell plain toe bluchers today. Little tight in the toe but I'm hoping to stretch them. How do you guys find vintage shoes to be comfort wise?

Thrifting for a beginner is tricky. Start with a brand new navy suit from a cheap retailer perhaps, get help from the salesman, and get it tailored on you. Grab couple 18 dollar shirts from Costco. Thrift BB striped ties and your first outfit done. then read the whole damn thread to build the rest of your wardrobe through thrifting/ebay as well as What am I wearing now thread.
Also put your size in your signature. you never know.

Don't buy everything that fits you, especially if you plan on thrifting for a few months. You'll just end up re-donating once you find better items, and even five and ten bucks here and there will kill your college budget.

    :fistbump:

@Nataku: I thought Thom Browne ladyshoes would be nicer? :puzzled:

Other recent thrift finds... I am not into the reselling thing. I only buy for myself and my son. This is lots of fun !! The most fun I have ever had with my clothes on! ( no pun intended ) Wish I had discovered this hobby earlier !!

Picked up a couple of Zanella's for LastDonB this evening. One of them happened to be the UNICORN type.
Also grabbed a couple of pairs of Tiger Woods Golf Pants / Shorts - Awesome Timing
And finally, a Eddie Bauer leather rucksack.

Thanks in advance for authenticity check.

I see two things you are doing wrong. First it looks like the tag says Made in USA. They stopped making them in the US a few years ago so I would add "Vintage" and "Made in USA" in the title. People search for that in Patagonia. Second I always start my price off cheap, just over what I paid for it. The lower price gets people fighting for it.

Do you really think vintage Aquascutum trenchcoats will be desirable garments for collectors here in the States? Serious question here. Are they a desirable brand outside of the UK?
