call me next time and we'll do some thriftin' and some

considering everyone on this fucking thread knows that Des Moines sucks for thrifting, I guess I can now cut back from one per week to once per month. :dozingoff:

Thanks for the kind words guys!! I figured the objections would be 1) full Windsor tie, which gets hate for being too wide/big...but I like it with really wide spread collars sometimes, and 2) the purple linen square being too matchy-matchy with the tie/shirt...which it may slightly be, but I like it here. Anyhow, thanks everyone!

Also, [IMG] about the wallpaper. I actually forget about/have gotten so used to it that I don't see it until you guys mention it everytime I post a fit...hahah.

To briefly return to the semi-verboten music discussion, that wallpaper looks like U2 sounds.

Nice score! MOA, right? They told me they never get any collaboration or higher end (Capitol E, LVC, etc) stuff so I never make the trek there anymore. Doh.....
Living pretty much in the Tournament Players Club, I find a ton of NWT/NWOT and barely worn Bobby Jones golf shirts. Looked them up onetime and saw $15-$25. Never bothered. That was a year or so ago, though. I grabbed a few to wear but damn these shirts are high maintenance. You either need to have them professionally laundered/dry-cleaned or have a lot of time to devote to ironing.
Awesome! I love Ibex stuff! I've found a couple sweaters of theirs before and they're amazing.
:slayer: Glad to see you're still in the thrifting game!

Yep, MOA. I swear all the stuff they had on the back clearance wall was all LVC stuff but was all still pretty spendy and out of my range even with the additional 30% off clearance sale they were running.

Well, I'm going to poo-poo it, albeit constructively. I think I'll go with the compliment sandwich

Compliment: I think this fits you pretty well overall, especially in your shoulders.

    (1) It's a really busy outfit. I like each piece you have, just not in this combination; very schizophrenic. It's kind of the equivalent of trying to watch 4 politicos talk at once on CNN.

    (2) It's an alterations issue, but the arms and pants look like they need to be shortened. Could be a photo issue, admittedly.

    (3) Knot-style is personal preference, but your windsor could be tighter and more symmetric.

Compliment: The colors are good on you. And the fact this is all thrifted is really cool.

    [/overdoing it on my part]
