Made 2 stops and left behind:

BB Makers pin stripe suit, 42r. I thought that Golden Fleece and the 1818 line are higher ranked than Makers but someone correct me.
Piatelli for Barneys NY black or navy orphan. 40r. I've heard of piatelli ties, but not suits/SCs. Pretty sure it was wool, but it was a seersucker fabric type.
Cole Haan split toes. Made in Maine. Looked nice, but they looked recent so the Cole haan suckability may already be present.

Long time lurker here. I was just wondering, do you guys tend to find this kind of stuff at Goodwill's/ SA's or consignment shops? I went to my local Goodwill's this week and didn't find anything other than some lower end department store suits that were at least 20yrs old.

I visit thrift stores almost exclusively, but have been known to moonlight in a few consignment shops.

    I have a ratio of about 1:5. the 5 being Goodwill/Value Villiage/Sally Army

Consignment shops generally have some ridiculous prices on IZOD / TH etc.

DIBS [IMG] hehe. can't wait! [IMG]

but seriously .... black or brown wingtips / longwings / captoes - 11.5-12D .... DIBS!

I don't know whats up with the 9 C/A's. I found 4 pairs of Hanover Sheppards all from different stores (SA, GW, Community Aid, and Veterans Thrift) all the same exact size. Kinda crazy.

Keep on truckin', dude. Maybe you just live in an area without higher end product. Take a road trip, or live vicariously through DM7, like I do.

I went a half dozen times before I found anything good. Just gotta keep at it and learn the good spots. Of course I could go to every store in a 20 mile radius every day and not find stuff like DM7, but I do okay with the stuff I find.
