I thrifted a fake J Press Tux yesterday. Didn't think twice about its authenticity (why would I, who fakes J Press?) until I got home and noticed the poor quality material, poor workmanship, and "After Six" label inside of the pocket where the J Press label had been sewn on. Ridiculous.

My finds for the past 3 days (DM probably did his @ lunch:angry:):

Burberry SC. Tagged 42S. Split vented and pretty recent. Pretty sure it’s a 3 roll 2. AVAILABLE
    [IMG]

TM Lewin L/S shirt. Tagged 15.5” x 33. However, I think it’s more of a 16” at the neck cause that’s what I used to wear. French cuffs. Also, very slim fit as it is 19.5” in the waist area. AVAILABLE
    [IMG]

Hugo Boss SC. Tagged 44R. I know not SF worthy, but it will be an easy flip. Split vented and pretty recent. I think it may be NWOT since it still has those stickers in the content tag. AVAILABLE.

Hawes Curtis L/S shirt. Fits good. I think I'll keep this one.

Scott Barber flat front chinos. These are keepers!

Nice SC. Good well to tell a 3B vs a 3 roll 2 is which side of the jacket the button hole is finished on. Someone with better knowledge correct me on this....

I've got Scott Barber brand canvas trousers. They were billowing around my legs when I bought them, but high quality and very nice fabric. How do these fit you?

Does anyone know anything about Carroll & Co's shoes which were made in Italy? I looked on their site, and it looks like most of their current shoes are made by Alden. Having a hard time IDing these.

I bought something today that I need an expert opinion on.
It is a heavy navy blue pure cashmere sport coat. What
is not familiar to me is the Zegna label. I have seen and
purchased ALOT of Zegna and have seen fakes.

    This has a

Z on the top of the label
    then Ermenegildo Zegna
then "10 Rue De La Paix"

at the bottom. The fabric and finish seems authentic, but label is
questionable. Top inside collar does have the familiar "Made in Italy".

    any help?

10 Rue De La Paix is the address of the first Zegna store ever, in Paris

I am guessing the jacket is very real but probably older. if the quality feels right I would say it's real.

I sold a pair of C&Co chukkas a while back that were Alfred Sargent made in England. Don't know about the Italian stuff.

Amazing haul, as usual...surprisingly (at least it was to me), those VV Murray shirts seem to do really well on the bay, just sold a lot of 2 for about $70...thought they would beabout $15- 20 shirts on there but seem to go higher...

Really cool shirt, I picked up a long sleeve CDG shirt a couple of weeks ago..not a cool as yours though..I think it was 951socal who gave me some info on it...

Great.....between DM7 and Valium, I'm gonna have to start posting early in the morning instead of at night......[IMG] Seriously, definitely looking forward to seeing this ..[IMG]
