Anyone know how to better date this Paul Stuart Suit?? (Has the 3 names, so is more recent I think??)

No expert, but my super recent one from Nataku's crazy PS haul awhile back looks a bit different...more rectangular and stitched on with light fabric, but otherwise has the same 3 names. No materials tag in my to compare with. Nataku might be the man to ask on that.

EDIT: And yes, agreed on Samuelsohn.

Not sure if this is much indication, but if you look at the font style and design of the two labels, it apears to be the same (or at least very similar). This is from little older Samuelsohn suit.

Not much, but I picked up a nice Glen plaid jacket with a subtle red overcheck, that fits quite well. From a local tailor of Italian cloth, fully canvassed. Wore it immediately.

Anyone know about I. Magnin? Found a light grey glen plaid suit in 40r that I believe is fully canvassed, but passed because I couldn't find any info. Thinking about going back and picking it up for myself...

I. Magnin was a high-end store competing with NM and Saks, I think mostly (only?) on the West Coast. I've only ever seen a tiny number of items from them here in Ohio, so that says something about the geographic distribution.

I don't know if they had high-end makers identifiable by interior labels or not, but it might be worth checking out. If you like it, it's probably pretty good stuff.

Will be in Chicago for one day on business next week. May have time to kill. Anyone willing to PM me one or two decent spots to hit, if I had only 1-2 hours? Obviously a one-time thing, so I'm not poaching. Usual quid pro quo applies: happy to proxy for cost plus ship, so long as you give me a sense of what you want and a commitment you won't unreasonably leave me holding the bag.

I'm probably gonna be vacationing / visiting friends in Chicago this summer... Feel free to pass along any hints here too, or if anyone wants to meet up let me know

Interesting - where are the socks from? Don't ask, but I've been looking for some interesting stuff that's not argyle.
