Never knew some of the BB "Silver Label" was made by St. Andrews, but that is not surprised as the Silver Label is only a notch below Golden Fleece in terms of quality. The Silver Label stuff always better quality then the reg BB line.

    Nice haul in general though!!!

While we are at it - shell?

Just picked these up on ebay. I was the only bid at 29.99 - but they got bumped up to $52 in the last 5 minutes or so. They were not marked as shell, but I feel like they are... Any thoughts? I could use the confidence boost - that would bea lot of money to spend on half-sole-replaced, no V cleat, calf Florsheim Imperials.

I have this EXACT coat from Sawyer, and it's epic. Came from a thrift store in Pittsburgh. I paid around $200 from the lucky guy who found it, and it was worth every penny.

Honestly, I think they're even better than BBGF. St.Andrews > BBGF

Every other silver label I have seen has not been made by St. Andrews, so "in general" the silver label BB suits/jackets are a step below BBGF but better then the standard BB label. This particular item may be "better" but most people don't realize that the silver label is a step up from the standard BB, so was just trying to help out. You got lucky that this particular one was made by St Andrews, but flipping wise 9/10 BBGF are going to get more $$$ then the silver label items. Just my 2 cents, so take it with a grain of salt.

I love the one pair of these I found. Don't care SF approved or not, they are awesome.

Sadly, when you have little kids nowadays, to help with amber alerts parents are issued ID cards. I have one for each of my two little ones, they look a little like driver licenses. If your kid gets abducted you give it to the cops and the latest school picture they can kop for the web page and to send out to local news organizations to distribute the photo. DISLIKE but carry in my wallet anyway.

SMartphones are the new wallets. I have, like 80 pictures of my kids to show off in case I need to show off to people...

I am a diehard Red Sox fan. We know this s#1t by heart. Don't mess, ha! We are headed toward 3rd place and no playoffs this year, I know already, so save the brickbats.

THIS. Is why. I buy from Thrift THread peeps. Almost exclusively. Now. :slayer::slayer::slayer:

Still working on google doc. Will show up in sig. Anyone who wants in after I do it, PM me, happy to do it. I am just going to say now to get it in on the record that after today, anyone who wants in should have 25 posts on this thread because if you're a lurker...gotta earn yo stripes.

No way!! I am liking Bobby V, and when Crawford gets back from the injury Red Sox are going to be on fire. We still have the best run-producing lineup in the league and our top 3 pitchers are above average.

Lol, you're both wrong. Tigers' lineup is far scarier than either the Rangers or Boston. And, their rotation is arguably in the the top two in the AL.
