No, toscano_adottato got it right. I ran it through a translator and it is Michael. Michelle translates as Michelle. Michael as Michele

Sorry, I should have explained myself. Correct, Michele=Michael, however, that garment was made by MICHELLE due to the garment tag IIRC. She took over the business from her father in the 1990's. It is still Michele Charchedi tailoring, but MICHELLE now operates the business and I am not even sure they are still in business.

EDIT: Actually, I just read she is setting up studio sessions at Boyd's.

Oh, Ok. So the garment carries the original name....It is fairly old (dated Dec. '89) . I noticed in my searches that the company was changed to just "M. Carchedi", I assume due to the difference in names.

That's a whole different discussion! I was just going by the name on the label.

I know nothing about recording equipment, but for some reason, this name stuck out from me after (I think) seeing it on this thread. Went to a local estate sale today and got these for .50c. eBay completed listings seem like $55 each at the high, but anyone have any insight?

Repost this on the audiophile thread. ArtisanFan may know.

You can probably get something for those.
