lol youre always working huh,no thanks
+1. Me too.
Picked up for myself:
BB silk/linen navy blazer
Unbranded silk/linen tan w/ blue overcheck
Ferragamo DB (small moth hole on pocket, but not really noticeable until upclose; too big - 56 EU)
Was excited to see this at my local TJ Maxx. Not quite a Spoo x Marshall's x E. Marinella moment, though. Hope it's a sign of things to come.
You could probably have made money on that.
Ive had quite a few other ---x---x--- moments since the Marinella, but I don't speak about them.
I'm going through stuff to list on ebay and apparently moths have eaten up my Castangia sportcoat!!!!! I am so mad right now. And if Syracuse loses, I might be in for a lot of drinking tonight.
These were not there when I bought it:
Don't know if these can be rewoven. On the inside of the left sleeve.
Fratelli is often abbreviated like that in Italy so my non-expert opinion is that they are real.
Speaking of awesome TJMaxx finds, I found these today:
Persol 2720-S Polarized
Same ones Daniel Craig wore:
I'd be interested in trading for Oliver Peoples Gregory Peck or similar style quality. Example:
If not, these are going on eBay with .99 start.
Funny you mention tjmaxx and Persol. I just snagged a 2720 for $50. Can't believe they made it to the markdown. I've been wanting these for a while.
I couldn't believe these were marked at what they were. Even less than what you paid.
Faconnable, Faconnable, Charles Tyrwhitt (cotton/silk), Alain Figaret
Patrizi Coliva (?) (cashmere), Sulka, J Crew patch madras, Polo Made in Italy knits x2 (burgundy, purple)
Unbranded black grenadine, Turnbull & Asser Green Grenadine, Unbranded Stripe Grenadine, Unbranded skinny made in England black Grenadine, Unbranded skinny made in Italy knit
Two bowties: Unbranded ivory with MOP buttons, Charvet Black
And what is probably a very fake Hermes (had to take the chance with the other ties I found and for $2.99)
This was the only marking on the tie:
Then you got an amazing deal, nice job.
There was no "Made in France, NNNN LL" on the skinny side? Like "Made in France 1234 PA"? If not, yes, fake. Looks so even without more info, but the lack of serial numbers would be definitive. Oh well, otherwise awesome tie haul.
Thanks! Yeah, no other markings, not even the usual carriage/horse keeper. For shame on whoever made this, for shame!
^^^ I don't think I've ever had a "great" tie haul... Congratulations on yours, though!
