No, it is a direct transfer, like paying cash (not getting it back unless the other person sends you money back), from my understanding. It is designed to not be an alternative to paypal for ebay, but for other things (like buying here on the forum) where there is a level of trust, or you have to pay a contractor who did work on your house, employees, etc etc

Looks good, especially the jacket and the shoes. I've been looking for a jacket like that (navy, summer weight, etc.) all over.

There's a difference between eBay and PP?

Yeah, it's tough... I'm still looking for a lighter blue, especially cotton and unstructured. Someone please send me a Boglioli [IMG]

I did just get a BB that looks like seersucker, and I've got a Vestimenta natural linen coming from eBay.

Dry runs for a while. Got one Willis and Geiger button down, light blue poplin 17/36 today. Keeper I think with sleeves rolled Also a nice new Tulliani Italian belt. Never heard of it. Keeper. Passed several HF sc which would not fit me or my trading partners.

Only bitching a little, but this is still the bragging thread, put that it's available and if someone wants it they will PM you. It's kind of obnoxious to put prices in this thread unless your just bragging on how little you spent of course (and go post it in the B&S forum)

Had to give a speech. Two quick ones on my way out which is why the right sleeve looks too short and my right side looks semi-disheveled.

Lardini... nothing to write home about I'm afraid. They also make some of the DK Couture "made in italy" stuff... every time you think you might have one of those elusive ones made by St. Andrews, NOPE, Lardini!

I like your jacket, though I'm not qualified in the slightest to evaluate fit! :)

So, today... two stores, nothing much clothing wise.

Store 1: Thomas Pink shirt for trade; saw a made in USA Polo RL seersucker DB jacket... with a belt loop in the pocket that shows there were once pants. :fu: No sign of them, of course.

Store 2: Found a nifty navy suit... labeled for some store in NYC, but the LP 110's fabric tag specified Hickey-Freeman, and the fabric tag was clearly H-F. And it was on discount, too! Look at me, all chuffed running for the counter..... and then I notice that the previous owner had the shoulder seam let out in the back. Let out an involuntary loud "AGH!" in the middle of the store, which earned me a couple of strange looks from employees.

Yes, that's right, around here an old H-F suit is an AGH-worthy find/miss. Welcome to the doldrums, as opposed to DM7's maelstrom! ;)

That said, I felt somewhat vindicated when I walked up to the showcase and saw this:

That's a Dyson DC-07 All Floors. Not the model I would have picked, and it was $80, but still, it's worth more than that on Craigslist if we decide not to keep it. Makes me feel better about the time a few weeks back I saw a Dyson box at Goodwill..... with their OLD (replaced) Dirt Devil inside it.
