    Konichiwa, comrades!,
Today was an interesting day. I found a dove-grey, patch-pocket, massive-Tom-fordian-peak-lapelled summery suit by Mr. Sid, a local MTM and bespoke shop, in Zegna cloth. Available :)! Closest approximation to real colour is in the third photograph, taken in natural light.

    Sorry Nataku [IMG]

It could be a good time for you to expand your thrifting/consignment business. I hope everything works out for you.

I'm very sorry to hear that Nataku. I know your stress level has got to be through the roof, but when all is said and done you'll come out ahead. Hang in there!

That sucks Nataku! If you're like me you've probably got a big backlog of stuff to list on eBay so that should help. Let us know if there's anything we can do... I have some contacts in the TC area, but all in the software biz.

Nat, holy cow, sorry to hear that. :( Is it a permanent layoff I assume? At least you've got your clothing sales to help out a little bit! Don't mention them at the unemployment office though! ;)

This weekend's finds from out of town... not DM7 level but much better than usual for me:

Marbas polo for me - didn't notice the logo, major fail. Will probably wear it anyway. Very nice - Filo di Scozia cotton, it just isn't one of those brands that sells on Ebay but for a personal pickup this is great.

Burberry London cashmere sweater - it's an XL and fits me, but probably going to have to throw it on the bay as currency.

NWT Southbridge short-sleeved shirt - this actually looks more reserved than i'd expect from Robert Graham currency

The piece d' resistance... my first Rag & Bone item, a shirt in XL. Looks to have been part of an S/S 2010 collection for Odin NYC. CLAIMED in a flurry of PM's >.>

I post this as a warning... these are Zegna cords, made by Incotex - but I neglected to notice that they are TRIPLE PLEATED. :fu: Look to be about a size 37 if anyone actually wants these things. :fu:

Obviously from the same guy... Hugo Boss orange label "handcrafted" 5-pocket button-fly mini-cords, 38/32. Available but probably headed for the 'bay, these seemed nice enough they might sell I guess.(edit: holy cow, it looks like the handcrafted does sell. will keep a closer eye out from now on. :smarmy: )

Finally... one more cashmere sweatshirt for myself. My first one from Gap is getting worn out, but shoot, these make great around-the-house or before-bed shirts in the winter.

Light Purple Finamore Shirt with Cut-Away Collar (17.5):

Super soft, nice MOP buttons. Long arms though.

Brooks Brothers Cable-Knit Tennis Sweater (L)

    Ties:

Swaine Adeney, Hilditch & Key, Marks & Spencer (not special - but whales!) and ???

Any help on identifying a maker on the last one...

Feels good, self-keeper, but no labels:

The "Made by Hand" looks a lot like this:

Maybe this is some weird fake RLPL? But see below, made in USA:

Nice Finamore! I don't think there's been a Finamore posted in this thread in a long time. I've never found one!

I don't think it's RLPL. I'm not positive, but I think all RLPL ties are made in either England or Italy.

This thread is similar... though there's no answer in it:

Hey dudes, would love some feedback on this thrift fit. This is post-tailoring, but I still can't help but feel like it drapes a bit too big on me, especially the leg opening width. Let me know what you all think.

Ditto on believing all RLPL to be made in England or Italy AFAIK.

You gotta get some new paint over that wallpaper.

Thanks, Dark! Yeah, I don't think it's RLPL, just thought it was an odd coincidence. Interesting tie either way.

It's a bit tough to tell, but there might be a little bit too much break. Your style seems to be for a bit of a lower gorge and wider lapels, I think it looks fine. How do the shoulders feel?

    Great tie!
