Found a few items today after a relatively unfruitfull week. Actually today was well worth the wait in my book.

My first Samuelsohn Suit - Dark Gray Birdseye
    E. Zegna Trofeo Suit - Dark Gray Birdseye...almost the same pattern as the Samuelsohn
    Burberry Blue and Brass SC
Older HF Suit - Gray Pinstripe...narrow stripes almost like a pincord.
A sweet Avoca Irish Windowpane Tweed 3 Button SC...needs a few bottons on the sleeves.
A crazy Members Only Tweed SC with all the bells and whistles.

Photos may show up later tonight if this headache goes away, but probably tomorrow.

Man that sucks a little, they did look like shell in the photos.... but they still look nice.
If I have any question and know the numbers, I double check the list in the back issue AE catalogs. It can take a little searching sometimes, but its worth it.
The shell list should be edited to remove 9147 from the AE list.

I find the catalogs on issuu.com, below is one of the links. I save allen edmonds as one of my favorites. These have proven to be very usefull to me.

Quite good at times. I think it was once bespoke, later made by top Northampton makers.

Looking at the heel pattern, I think these are exactly the ones I found awhile back (and, coincidentally, wore today [IMG]), and yes they absolutely are tanks. I love them more than any other shoe I've found/worn in my size. They just feel incredibly well built and heavy, and that loud ass CLICK CLACK when you walk across a hard surface is weirdly satisfying to hear. Love them.

Suicide heels are fantastic....until the first time you walk across wet stones/tile....then....not so fantastic.

Almost broke a leg heading to Grand Central on Park Ave a couple years ago. Did we really need to spray the sidewalk down with water during the middle of the evening commute home...really???

If it has the heart on the tag, it's recent (within 3-4 years old) [IMG] Before that it was this: [IMG] and before this one (hard to tell but the tag is red. shade of red varies. I've seen dark red to a bright red) [IMG]

^^ Looks like it could be the predecessor to the red label. Definitely looks older.

They are definitely a cool detail, but I had them replaced on my longwings. When the sidewalks get slippery during winter, they're bad news.
