I thought NORE was being ironic, or tongue in cheek, or something. I also suspected he was (knowingly) stirring the pot.:D

I guess the result is that we're on for another day or so on the morality of thrifting, which will lead inevitably to the morality of thrift stores themselves. :cloud:

No, please, not again. This happens every other month or so. It's a tired debate with rehashed arguments. And I think NORE is just trolling anyway (could be wrong, don't care).

What we should be focusing on is finding where Darkmatter lives/thrifts and invading. Send a PM to contribute to the war chest for the trip.

If anyone happens to visit, send me a PM. I will take you to the treasure chests.

Also, I leave behind a TON of Zegna/Canali level stuff. If anyone wants to know where I've left a large quantity of stuff behind, let me know. Today in particular I left behind 5+ Canali suits, and 10+ Sport Coats / Orphans. Also left behind Belvest, Chester Barrie, and Brioni Sport Coats that were priced too high [IMG]

LOL your "disappointed" is my AWESOME FINDS OF THE MONTH if that makes you feel any better! Seriously, wow!

As for my finds today..... here it is!

Yeah, that's right. One shoe. It's interesting, though, in that it's a Florsheim shell SHORTWING. Never seen that before. Size 10.5C. Numbers inside are 431973 32701 - and the bubble is the blue The Florsheim Shoe one. Even more interesting (and the reason I picked it up) is that this is NOT listed on the Hunter's Guide to Shell. In fact, I can't find any similar shoe listed anywhere.

p.s. see the white stuff at the bottom? the whole shoe was covered in about that much dust. impressive, I have to say.

I did have a manager look halfheartedly in the back for the mate... it was put out with a beat-to-heck Florsheim pebblegrain longwing for the left shoe. Argh. I left them that one, in hopes that perhaps the left shell shortwing is paired with the right pebblegrain longwing. :brick: Still, though, it was interesting enough to pick up.

Oh, and here's the Tods loafers I saw the other day... they looked really nice, I'd love to have a pair of these for myself for actually driving in... these would not work ;p
