    Two stores this morning...

store 1: a pair of Bills flat front M2's in 36 waist (not pictured)

store 2: well, SHIIIIT. Sorry for the crappy cell phone pics, but, well, you'll understand in a minute.

First - this Sears XL zipper jacket, feels like wool - this is the kind of thing I'm supposed to look for, right? Serious question... don't laugh!

Second - WHAT THE EFF. RLPL shawl-collar cashmere cardigan, solid navy with silver metal buttons. Size L. No idea what I'm going to do with this yet, it's really too small for me but I don't know what I'll do yet.

Do I win the thrifting-before-lunch category? :hide:

LOL let's see 'em... that's a pretty big statement to make considering I had two PM's within a minute or two of posting :fence:

I don't think anyone has ever found anything by Tom Ford... at least not in the last year or so. Impressive!

Wait is that a Cheerio on the floor next to the suit? Lol. Nothing starts my day off right like eating a bowl of Honey Nut Cheerios in my New Tom Ford 3pc.

Dang, Brian, you're right, you're a close second... that's really something.

If you want to trade that thing, I'd be down for it in a second. See, not PMing you!

    Off topic PSA:

Shout wipes will remove shoe polish from your favorite jeans after an evening of shining up your thrift treasures.

I'm thinking about getting a leather apron to alleviate that problem

Regarding thrift stores in the UK.
I have visited maybe 30-40 while on vacations. I almost always find something I need. No high value items.
The charity shops are often FULL of ties.
My best finds. Again no high value items, but great stuff for my wardrobe:
Many made in England silk repp ties from unknown brands.
Harris Tweed coats, hats, ties, sport coats,....
Marks and Spencer made in England coats, sweaters, pants,... Some of the pants have a nice modern/slim fit.
Made in Europe cufflinks and tie clips.
Fred Perry and Ben Sherman shirts, sweaters, and pants.
Rare sizes: 38XL, 40XL, Medium+2(Medium Tall with longer sleeves),...
