Wow, you had a good day, haha. That Barbour is something I would love to see show up in any thrift I hit. Sadly, none to date.

Sorry man. I really like the fabric on that Pal Zileri. I have a Corneliani with nearly identical fabric. It's possibly my favorite piece i've picked up. I keep trying it on in hopes that it shrank.

    I actually picked up some
    [IMG]

Flat front, split waistband, super recent Zanella Platinums in size 44 last night. From what I remember, the large Zanellas run really small, so they may fit you.

Yeah, I was pretty excited to find it. It's actually a piece I was considering getting off B&S for myself. It's a bit big for me though =(

I found another Barbour a few weeks ago, just a shirt so I never posted about it =/

I cycle through almost 15 stores fairly frequently.

Dunno man... I keep raising my standards, but then I find better and better stuff. I'm still waiting on my grail worthy shoe and overcoat finds =/

Possibly. I think there's a hole in one of the sleeves, so I'll have to get you a picture of that.

Also, I want to apologize to anyone's PMs I haven't responded to yet. I go thrifting to de-stress, but I don't enjoy selling stuff quite as much. I'll get back to you soon.

Is there a picture of YOU wearing that? Those measurements seem more like a US 42 to 44 although I obviously the the 50R tag you posted. A pic of it on you would make it seem more correct to me. I dunno.

Just wondering because if you ended up not selling it and decided to give it to me, I'd like to be sure that it wasn't too large before accepting it.

Nothing great today, but a few interesting things. First couple places all I found was a couple shirts for me and a couple nice scarves

    Scarves:

Cashmere from Scotland... Keeping this, maybe for the GF

James Pringle of Inverness, woven in Scotland, Lindsay tartan (available)

third place... nothing... Fourth place I found this suit. It's a very nice 46R Coppley, with E. Zegna fabric and at least half canvassed. Bit of a mystery...

Gorgeous fabric... charcoal with a blue windowpane

Caruso? Just a coincidence? It says it was made in Canada.
Available... Mostly got it because it's well made with gorgeous fabric and I thought someone here would appreciate it, but I'm not sure how much eBay value it has.

This one is really nice... Also a 46R, but a very recent HSM (available)

While I was looking for pants to match up with some older HF suits (didn't find them) I came across these... Pal Zileri tropical weight wool pants, 32 waist

Wish I'd looked a bit closer... got excited about finding them... One spot rewoven, one other snag / tear... Available if someone wants them at cost

    And 3 shirts, available

Hickey Freeman, 16x34, cutaway collar, french cuff

Hickey Freeman, 17.5 x 34, cutaway collar, french cuff

Brooks Brothers, 17.5x34, cutaway contrast collar and french cuffs

I love that I saw this and immediately knew what it meant before I read what was below it, (the tilt of that thing's head absolutely slays me)

On the topic of flat front Zanellas, I have a pair if anyone is interested. Recent, grey nailhead pattern. Waist laid flat: 21, Inseam: 30.5 (+2.5). In good shape.

Picked up a Gieves and Hawkes (Bespoke?) 40R double breasted fully canvassed plaid suit today with a damaged armpit lining.

    [IMG] [IMG]

    [IMG] [IMG]
I was so excited the "Bespoke" written on the label that I totally missed the UNITE tag [IMG]. As such, I assume this isn't worth fixing to sell, so If someone wants to take it off my hands for cost + shipping I'd love to get rid of it, running out of room in my closet.

On a more positive note I picked up these polarized Ralph Lauren (same script writing as Purple Label) made in Italy sunglasses at TJ MAXX for a fraction of retail. A little loud for my tastes but hopefully I can pull them off.

EDIT: Any market/interest for vintage MTM Hickey Freeman (circa 1969 specifically)? Saw a nice plaid suit in around a 38/40 today - narrow lapel, flat front - very modern looking.
