Note that the women's coat buttons on the opposite side. Also the one you have, as noted is a 40. A 40 is nearly always a mans coat

Maybe they're just trying to make one coat do double duty and hope nobody notices?

I think they cleaned up well. If they were my size they would be heading back to Alden.

    Great sweater finds.

Sweaters are the hardest things for me to come up with. I haven't thrifted a single decent one, and that's not from lack of trying.

    A few recent things.

First off, what the hell is this jacket/shirt thing? I probably shouldn't have picked it up (10 % cashmere, but made in Hong Kong), though it seemed kind of unusual

And I picked up these trousers because they seemed like regular pants. The tag, however, leads me to believe that they are part of a suit. But maybe not. There are two different linings in the pants, so maybe that's what the jacket lining/trouser lining thing is all about.

    Ahh! I'm so confused.

Thanks ATL...if you like the LP I'd be willing to take some of my money back :nodding:

I think the Biella/Trillion will stay in my closet unless i get an offer I cant refuse. It actually fit quite well. The NM showed my gut which is why I pegged it a large.

I have a bunch of thrifted shirts that are .25" to .5" too short in the sleeves. Most of them are nominally my size but had shrunk some. I was going to re-donate a bunch of these shirts but thought I'd try stretching the sleeves first. And it seems to actually work.

Of course they may just revert back to the too-small size next wash. We'll see.

Cool finds. Despite being a HK tailor piece, that shirt-jacket thing is really cool. The styling and pattern is great.

As for the trousers, they're likely odd trousers (patterned trousers sold just as trousers). I've got a pair of plaid trousers from Brioni that are the Cannes model.

I saw the picture first without reading and was like WTF! That's a good idea if it works.

Nothing at the thrift for me today, but as I was leaving a sales lady was cleaning a pair of new w/o box Ferragamo patent leather lace ups. 13D. I'm feeling generous and not looking to make a killing off these, so shoot me a PM if interested and we can discuss price.

    These are the shoes.

Eff. I went back to the thrift to buy them and on further inspection there was a small, but noticeable cut on the toe of the left shoe.
