Went today at lunch... What I did grab:

My first Hartmann! A burgundy leather briefcase. A bit beat up, but should be good for another decade or more:

Thoughts on cleaning it up with shoe cream to fill in the scuff colors before selling, or should I leave it as-is? Available

    What I didn't pick up....

A Wenger black leather purse / carryall with the red w/ white plus Swiss Army symbols on the zipper pulls. Not sure if I should have grabbed it or not...

Also, this Pavone made in Italy suit that felt canvassed with pick stitching, size 42S... Didn't look like they sell for anything on the bay, but it was well made. I'll proxy if anyone wants it

Awesome! But you are right, a free used luxury car is never free. I know from experience (but never was lucky enough to get one free - I paid up for them!). SteveSmith is right, Pre 1983-ish BMWs and Mercedes were very simple to maintain and work on. Now they are computerized monstrosities. If you have an electrical problem in, say a 1989 BMW 7-series, expect to pay $500+ just to figure out what's causing it.

Ha. I'm new to this game and strictly look for stuff for me.

    BUT....

I don't have pics here at work, but when I get home I will build a clothes porn setup and give you the dets.

What do you require? A pic of the price tag, the inside brand tag, the jacket, front and back?

2 pairs of great condition Vineyard Vines flat front chinos in my size...ready for summer. A black Hickey Freeman Loro PIana 100% cashmere sport coat size 44 (too big for me). It is one of the softest garments I've ever felt, I nearly slept with it. A Zanella navy blazer, fully canvassed but non vented (sigh). And a cool vintage Harris Tweed with patch pockets, 38L or so.

Rubinacci. Pic don't do it justice. Woven silk. Circles are actually more towards brown than red.
