Good lord...I can't wait to see the shirts, pants and suits listing.
I rarely find stuff like this, so thanks for that, its what keeps me going.
I came up with a pair of Dries Van Noten flat front khakis from 2009ish somewhat recently. My size, but meh. Ebay-ed 'em.
Churning in my nuts and woody in hand tells me I am t-minus 5 seconds from erupting. If those shoes were a fine lady, they would soon be with child.
Very decent indeed
Yeah posting those Ferragamos without an NSFW spoiler was rude. I need to clean the bottom of my desk up now...
Please tell me you don't want the polka dotted one.
Remember that Jack Georges brief case I found Wednesday? I got home and showed it to SWMBO and she says all innocent like...Oh yeah, I was given a leather briefcase to give to you yesterday. Like it was nothing at all! So I bug her to get it out of her car and bring it in and it's a barely used J.W. Hulme! Still not Filson but I look online and it retailed for close to $800! Missing the shoulder strap. maybe they'll send me one?
Wow - major score! You owe your wife one! JW Hulme is based in St. Paul. I was drooling over their bags in their booth at last year's NorthernGrade. (http://northerngrade.tumblr.com/). Amazing stuff (and better than Filson in my books) but no way I could afford it, even at discount!
They're a great company/maker. I'm sure they're send you a replacement strap.
Yeah, that's pretty amazing... Congrats!
Wow... Seriously nice find... Who gave it to her?
I'm going to pull a Digmenow here and post a thrifted fit. It's not the best, but I had to do business-casual for a shift at the TV station today.
Cardigan: Urban Outfitters, $10
Shirt: Zara, $3.50
Tie: No brand, $3
Pants: Dockers, $12
Shoes: Allen Edmonds, $8
Watch: Vostok via eBay, $35
Thanks! I found a Hulme thread here on sf and it doesn't get the love (or command the prices) that Filson or S.A.B. generate but there were some folks standing up for it. If they won't send a strap, they sell them separately for $50. I was able to find the current season's version but I haven't been able to locate this particular exact model yet, though.
She's a medical secretary at a high end Internist's group in N.W.D.C. and her doc is the company prez. He was cleaning out a closet in his office and asked if she wanted the bag and some sort of electrical appliance (personal coffee maker, perhaps? ). She's a serious pack rat and said yes to both. He told her that he paid around $600 brand new on sale.
I told her to casually mention that if he came across the strap that she'd take if he was throwing that out as well.
@Casey, I put my comments in the thumbs up box just like the "big boys" fit threads.
Hey guys - Ive been busy and haven't read the past 2 days - i.e. the last 8,000 pages. Anyone got a quick cliff note refresher course?
Klobbler ranted and wont be posting finds unless they fit anymore (I would go look at this one)
A few Tom Ford items were thrifted
Some rock and roll music talk
Mainy made us all feel like small timers with his 6 NWOT pairs of cesar attolini napoli dress pants (thrifted a year ago he forgot to tell us about)
Check out my ebay store (seriously this was a topic)
wcl thrifted a Loro Piana Horsey
I made a light box
catside tried to trade is Polo Polar Bear thrift for a Kiton suit or an Alpha Romeo Spider Veloce (but it wasn't cashmere so no takers)
Last 6 hours you can prob see quick, but Digmenow received a free J.W. Hulme (didnt even have to do any work for it, fell from the heavens into his hands)
and AHS thrifted some (real?) Hermes ties and a NWOT pair of 9.5D beautiful Ferragamos.
Heh...Ask me about my SL.
Spoiler: Yeah, it was free, too.
