New pictures of the Brioni. This thing really is one of the most amazing pieces of clothing I've ever laid eyes upon. I'm including the pants for free, making this a blazer suit of sorts. :slayer: Offered here first, and will be on B&S later tonight.

    Brioni
    chest: 24"
sleeves: 25.75" (.5" to let out or so)
    shoulders: 20"
    length (boc): 32"

That is not a stain on the left sleeve.

    Neck: 17.5"
    Chest: 26"
    sleeves: 24"

I picked this up because it looked like a fairly recent Hickey Freeman tag. I was also assuming that this is a sport coat. It fits, but I got it home and my wife asked me why I always pick up used-car-salesman clothes.

Staple ruined my only find today. BB Golden Fleece blue/white microcheck (think GDL-style in the CBD thread). Not my size, but this thing was really nice. Gorgeous MOP buttons (I think), no stains or even signs of wear. French cuffs. Very nice. Removed the staples by pulling up the prongs to avoid unnecessary injuries. But nope, staple had already left two noticeable holes right in the collar. There were two others, too, since someone must have attempted it the first time, it didn't take, and then they just tried again right above. :cloud:

So, I essentially paid for MOP buttons today . C'est la vie. I think I'll take it to my new tailor and see if she can't make it into a pocket square or two for me. It's really nice sea island cotton, so for a couple of bucks, I hope it is salvageable.

I'd divorce her. That thing is pretty sweet!

Also, I'm 99.99% certain it's a SC. The fabric combo plus the pattern is a pretty good indication. And the shoulder don't look too prominent, either.

That's definitely gotta be an SC. Pretty badass too IMO.

Haha, wow! Small world! Ricci silk shirts must attract wealthy people who need consignment of their goods.

That's absolutely insane. Wish I had some luck finding nice shoes.

Another dissapointing day. Found a Kiton prince of wales plaid suit in size 52L, I hit the ceiling and had it in my hands ready to purchase for the princely sum of $39.99. I was thinking of ANDRO, NATAKU or ACHILLIES when I was in line. My wife then said to me "you are not seriously thinking of getting that"? I was like "yeah, why do you ask"? Wife then pointed at all the flawed spots - numerous small holes on one sleeve. Other sleeve had 2 visible holes about the size of a pinhead. Then the real killer - my wife pointed to the back of the jacket by the neck - a 3" rip and about 2 holes larger than a dime running alone by the collar. I gave the suit to the lady behind the counter, and only scored today:

Zegna wool turtleneck sweater, SZ M.
Burberry Brit white shirt, SZ XL
    Zegna Mainline shirt, SZ XL

Also found a very handsome made in USA Ralph Lauren Polo double breasted suit SZ 44. It was double vented, and get this: FULLY CANVASSED. This thing was quality, but the price was too high at $39.99.

Yep, the hook is set, the wiggly worm bait is in place, I want to take a bite, and if I do, reel me in ;)

Interesting, very interesting. The Brioni is an oldie but goodie, lapels are pitched lower than I usually consider, but, that still looks cool.
Brioni pants - pleats or no pleats?
Brioni jacket - vents or no vents?

    Let me know Homey.
