My grandmother has had me on a mission to get one of these for her. You know what you have to pay for one on ebay?!!! Many around $100. Who'd-a-thunkit!

This one was $1.99 had to order some of the plastic light things.

I believe the 4" noted over on the other site relates back to more of a trad fit and I've mainly seen it associated with sack suits. The safe bet is to use 2".

Agreed. I generally subtract 2 inches from the P2P*2 for sizing purposes.

I remember my grandparents having one of those for Christmas. Can't imagine dropping $100 for one.

    Nice score on the Hanovers.

as a buyer, i would have pegged that a 46 short, actually (24-inch sleeves?)

Thanks. I live in Hanover so they are a fairly regular find for me.

But it's eBay, where sellers never win. If the guy left positive feedback and will pay return shipping, grit teeth and do the return.

Keeper or are you looking to move it? If so, let's hear some details and a price. :D

I'm largely on thrift hiatus. Got burned out and was having nightmares about hordes of zombies clad in Stafford shirts chasing me through the racks. Did get a very nice Armani Jeans duffle bag on Ebay that I love.

Pic me up, bro. Just an FYI though, unless its a 1993-1997 era silk foulard print vest, it aint gonna go for much.

This thread make me sad. Since I picked up a few shirts in early Dec I've come across 2 Canali Proposta suits. That's it. The stores around me are loaded with Stafford, Jos A Bank, Van Heusen, etc, etc, etc. I check this thread every day happy for each of you that is able to find quality gear.

If anyone is interested I do have 4 shirts (Alexander McQueen, 2x Thomas Pink, Turnbull & Asser) available in the (Un)Official Buy/Sell thread (being held for approval still.....)

Paully, put 'em on the spreadsheet while you're at it. See my link.

And don't worry, we all see racks of stafford, JAB, etc. Just keep plugging and for crying out loud, whatever you do, don't break down and buy the Stafford.

    ^^^ I will thanks.

"...whatever you do, don't break down and buy the Stafford." lol, I threw one on under a sweater I wanted to check the fit/look. It fit really well except for the neck and I almost bought it just 'cause....good thing the cuffs were shredded or I may have had a moment of weakness.
