1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

I know putthison does a nice blog with a post towards good ebay deals, but I'd appreciate fellow thrifters giving us all a heads up on solid ebay opps...

(if that doesn't make sense, it's because I'm drunk.)

I've actually used the Oxyclean Cat Urine remover (we have cats). I get them to the dry cleaner right away and it works pretty good.

I would not do it to wool. Is it worth a dry clean? Check out some coupons. . .

I think it's worth it, it's a Hickey freeman bespoke suit. I was afraid that dry cleaning wouldn't get it out.

One of my ugliest ties currently listed, which is one of two that is also 4" wide, has 8 watchers while the rest have 0-2. Boggles the mind. These are the robert talbott/ike behar ties I shouldn't have bought, but even selling one at 1500% profits will recoup my cost for all of them.

Is it me or does that Hermes look off? Heavy silk are the only ones that have those tags, right? It looks a little flimsy and is the vertical rectangular logo almost looks screened.

Could just be the pictures though

The heavy silk and woven ones have the "Hermes Paris" tag, not the horse and carriage one. This label is right for the tie, but its hard to say just from this one pic if its real. Looks so though.
