Nat, any further updates to this saga?
Correct, sorry - they're marked down to $320 from $460 on their official website.
Clarification Needed.... McDonalds or Starbucks?
Picked up a suit the other day for a friend, but it turn out it doesn't fit him. Might fit me with a little work. PRL Made in the USA Gray Nailhead (I think, please correct me if wrong) DB. It is older, but still in pretty nice condition. 1 or 2 small holes in the trousers, but in hidden areas so I don't care.
Thumbnails are clickable if you care.
I've never ventured into DB territory before (and don't see many around here) so tell me, is it too visibly dated based on either the lapels or the fabric? (unvented if that matters, seems less important in DB) Ignore the weird fit where it buttons - I'll have to move the upper functioning button. The PO had that button fall off (it is ever so slightly different) and reattached in the wrong place. I think he wore it as a 6x1, but I would want to wear it 6x2. So -- to the tailors or back to the thrift rack?
EDIT: If I decide against, it will be available until the last return date (in a week or so).
Measures like a 40 - no tag.
That is rather big for you. At least 2 sizes.
Was just thinking about this.
Always my problem. It probably is in the chest, but across shoulders and arms, if it were smaller I couldn't get it on. Smallest shoulders I've ever gotten away with were 18.5 (tore 18.25 once).
I should probably take this as a sign not to have it altered enough to fit. Either that or get into the gym/buffet line more often and try to grow into my shoulders.
Sadly none. He never followed up. Talked to the secretary a couple more times who said he'd call me back. Never did. I gave up. I'm fighting a losing battle here.
Found this leather jacket today while out at lunch.
But can anyone help me ID the maker? No label, but a very faded tag size L. Inside snaps state "Fiocchi Italy" but I gather that these are the snap manufacturers.
Could use some TLC.
oof, i did some searching, looks like Caleffi is a custom shirtmaker and men's shop in rome that sells kiton and a bunch of sartoriale artigianale italizzane molto eccellenti brands i've never heard of: http://www.caleffi.net/english/sartoria_e.asp
Local news stations are probably going to be more interested in this than are employers. "Local school employee defrauding ebay sellers! More after the break." For the boss, especially if she's getting her job done, you're just an obstacle to getting the job done.
I made a quick stop and was pleasantly surprised.
In this area, this is a top-notch find....it's a top notch dress shirt find for any region
But is there anything better than a freshly laundered & pressed find that is numbered OUT OF FOUR???? The hunt is on....
And I have collected the full set.
I think all are 41 (16) but I am unsure on length. They may fit me...
Nice find, it sounds like someone did not pick up his drycleaning.
I've had a fairly productive week.
Allen Edmounds Hastings Wholecuts
These are a mess right now but should clean up well. It looks like the previous owner only worse them a few times and managed to splahsh mud all over them the last time... I'm normally an 11D, these are a 10.5 EEE, they're a little wide on me but I'm going to clean them up and give them a try.
HF Boardroom Blue Staple Blazer
This fits like it was tailored for me and I've already worn all of last week. Sorry Dig, no time for fit pics (on account of Valentines day), but I thought the buttons were cool.
Oxxford Crest Tie
Klobber, you we're kidding this is nice. I've found Oxxford before, but this is my first Crest.
But the color looks like a rather elegant blue-grey on my monitor, so I'm unclear about the problem...pair it with charcoal slacks.
