Can't in good faith. Totally spoiled. Useless as a guard for your eBay goods. Will probably show the thieves the way.
Are you sure it's not a KILTON, many new people are deceived by that, and I'll take it off your hands at a reduced price so you can save face!
Welcome and happy thrifting.\!
In 3 months since I've been lurking/posting, first time I've seen mentioned Oxxford cords! Great looking fabric. How rare are Oxxford cords?
I have no idea! I found them hiding at TJ Maxx. This is the first time I have ever come across a pair of Oxxford Casual Pants. I have not a clue of there rarity.
the fabric looks "elegent"
Does anyone know if older, Big E Levi's stuff not made from denim is worth a damn?
Anything Big-E is collectible but obviously not as much as denim. That's still an easy $50 +.
Had a pretty frustrating day at a nearby GW. My finds:
1) Corneliani tan SC-- too big (44L), and riddled with holes. didn't bother looking for trousers
2) Samuelsohn Navy pinstripe suit- coat fit like a dream, but I couldn't even button the pants. I'm new at this and don't know how to tell if a pair of pants can be taken out more, so I left it
3) Canali overcoat- marked $49, and had a tear in the back
4) Brooks Brothers "Brooksgate" charcoal jacket-- searched high and low for the pants, but did not find them
5) Thomas Pink shirt with a massive stain
Still, this was my first time at this particular goodwill; from the looks of it, I'll have to add this to the rotation.
Found a few things today.
First off, please tell me this is a SC. I figured that there's no way someone would wear a suit this loud:
And what's the consensus on Mezlan shoes? They seemed pretty nice to me.
This guy is a medium, and I might try to convince myself that it's not a bit too roomy
I also picked up an old Jos Bank Executive burgundy blazer with patch pockets because it looked cool, it fit well and the buttons were killer.
Zegna cloth maybe... but not any way related to the brand of clothing that is Zegna.
I used to have a bag like this. There was a period in the 80s where LV licensed stuff via "The French Company" or something like that to be sold through Bonwit Teller, and Macys. These pieces were made in France and USA, but generally to crap standards. I thought my piece was fake until a boutique verified it. There should be a tag somewhere on the inside that references the French Company, but if not, check it out at a LV store. Don't get all that excited though - even if its real you're only looking at like $200 or so max.
This might look a little strange because this was a bit odd to measure, but here goes:
p to p: 23
sleeve: 29.5 (raglan sleeves measured from the top of the seam in the back)
hehe looks like picking up the occasional piece for the wife has earned me a lifetime thrift-shopping pass.
found her a J. Crew herringbone tweed jacket made from Robert Nobles fabric. made in china, but pretty nice.
